Daniel 8, Satan Shall Stand Up In Jerusalem

Daniel 8

You'll remember we said chapters 2 thru 7 were written in Chaldean, the languages of Israel's captor. This chapter is written specifically to the Israelites and here we switch back to Hebrew, the true language of our people.

Keep in mind that this chapter was written three to four years prior to chapter 6, in which Daniel was tested in the lion den. You may assume therefore three to four years after the events discussed in this chapter which have directly you. This has to do with the last days that you also will be given a choice to either be delivered up as a witness for Christ or worship a false christ (Satan).

Daniel 8:1 In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.

This is the vision of the Two Beast in Revelation 13, (The political system and Satan's one world religious government)
This vision and the rest of the book from here is written in Hebrew.
Because its purpose is to show how gentile dominion of Daniel 2 specially concerns and affects Israel.
Last King of Babylon was King Belshazzar
You'll remember in the last verses of chapter 5, King Belshazzar was slain, and here we're in third year of his reign.
This was in the third year: 426 B.C. Daniel being 87 years old. (Ap 50)
Like the vision in chapter 7, this also is complete in itself, but is necessary to contribute its proof of the unity of the book as a whole .
After two years - At the end of the Babylonian empire, for Belshazzar reigned little more than two years.

2 And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.

Shushan, the chief city of All Persia = Iran of today = just pass the tiger river = Head of the Persia Gulf
Elam meaning the hidden ones = The Lord will bring them into all nations = Jeremiah 49
Ulai = Pure water = Persia = It's the head of the Persia River, runs near the Euphrates and Tiger River = Its Iran of today
He talking about Iran. Go to the head of the great River Euphrates and look east
This geographical location is not Babylon.

Ulai = The Eulaeus canal, near Susa, now the Karun river.
The palace is the same as belonged to Ahaseurus (Esther 1:2) in Media Persia.
Esther 1:2 That in those days, when the king Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom, which was in Shushan the palace,
3 In the third year of his reign, he made a feast unto all his princes and his servants; the power of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him:
Daniel was probably there during the time of Nebuchadnezzar's disease, which explain why Belshazzar, Nebuchadnezzar's grandson, did not know Daniel in chapter 5 before the queen drew Belshazzar's attention to him.
I was at = I was in = Daniel may have retired there (during the lycanthropy of Nebuchadnezzar) when Nehemiah and Mordecai were in the court of Astyages
Neh 1:1 The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace.
Daniel was there employed by Astyages is clear from verse 27

3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

Latter time, We assume we are talking about British and American, being recorded in Hebrew, is written specifically to the Israelites.

A ram is a male sheep, and how many time does the scripture refer to the lost sheep of Israel?
Two horns = A horn is a ruler, so we see we are talking about a ruler of England and a ruler of the USA.
In the last days the he goat stands for a political system, Satan's one world order.
History = Two horns, which represented the kings of the Persians and Medes.
Horns means power, nations
Daniel 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.
Daniel 8:21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
Grecia = Greece
He goat = a leaper of the goats. The acknowledged symbol of Greece, as the ram was of Persia

4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

Last days = a ruler of England and a ruler of the USA
Ram = the Christian Nations, the tribes of Israel
History = Daniel is seeing the fall of Babylon
Ram = Persia = Pushing = butting: always hostile
Became great = acted proudly = Westward = to the west

5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

Last Days = The he goat stands for a political system, Satan's one world order (Rev 13:1 -2)
The goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
Note that it travels the whole earth and comes from the west.
From the west is not the place of origin, but the direction from it

Notable = conspicuous
History = The great horn was Alexander the great
He-goat of the goats (2 Chronicles 29:21). In Dan 8:5,8 it is used as a symbol of the Macedonian empire
He goat symbol of Greece was Alexander
As the ram was of Persia, because the first colony was direction by an oracle to take a goat for a guide and build a city, which they did, and called it Egeae from Aix = a goat.
Figures of a goat are found today on ancient Macedonian monuments.

6 And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had there seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.

Last Days = We see here a conflict between a nation and two Christian nations.
History = Ran unto him = Symbolizing the rapidity of Alexander's conquests, which in the short space of thirteen years, subdued the world.

7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

Last Days = You see the very first dreams, you see the Christian Nations coming down.
The goat = Satan's one world order = here did not kill, but conquered two nations = USA and Great Britain
Goat = Satan's one world order = one of the nation take down = USA and Great Britain = they become weak
Ram = Christian Nations = British and American "rays" may be smoother, but is weak
This will happen just before the ten rulers setup in Jerusalem
None that could meaning no deliverer for.
Hand means power, Put by of cause, for the power put forth by it.
History = The first king represents, Alexander the Great
Was moved with choler, means moved himself or strove violently with.
Choler means bile, for anger or wrath, which was supposed to be due to excess of bile.
Hands = power = for the power put forth by it

8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

Four winds brings the end = Revelation 7 = the 5th trump
Last Days = He goat in the end times = Satan's one world order
The.. he goat stands for a political system
The rulers was broken in pieces, instead of it afterward
Four notable one = four conspicuous "ones"
It was broken, and four took it's place in opposition to the four winds in heaven.
Great horn broken. Four horns are Kingdoms or nations. The four conspicuous ones
The 7th kingdom will be setup in Jerusalem = Daniel 7 = Four World Powers
Daniel 7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
These beasts in Revelation are kingdoms, kings, leaders
Great four beast which are four kingdoms or four world powers out of the earth
Daniel 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

His kingdom = another shall rise after them = 8th king Satan
This vision is still in Chaldee (the Gentile language), because it is the continuation of Daniel 2:44, and shows what will take place in "the last days of those kings" before the stone strikes the image.
It brings us up to the end of Gentile dominion over Israel.
Four winds means all blowing at the same time and producing the one result described in verses: Dan 7:3-8.
These four winds that come from all directions, north, south, east and west, to concentrate on a specific point are not common winds.
We see then that the events we are about to study in this chapter of Daniel will not occur until God's servants are sealed.
You can rest assured that we're going to see a tremendous uprising in activity, as far as your teachings are concerning in a very short time.
The great sea, The Mediterranean Sea, or the sea denoting the people of the earth, as interpreted for us in verse 17.
Daniel 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellers, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellers, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
Revelation 9, we learn that the four winds of heaven would not come to pass until the servants of God, the elect, were sealed in their foreheads.
Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
History = Waxed very great, referring to the great extent of Alexander's conquests, as "ran" verse 6 refers to the rapidity of them.
Great = He was Exceedingly proud (verse 4)

9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

Little horn = 8th king = Satan saying he is God = 7th kingdom gives the kingdom over to 8th king Satan
The pleasant land always refers to Jerusalem.
And what did Christ say? When you see abomination of desolation standing where it (he) ought not.. in the Holy Place.. which is in Jerusalem.
South is Egypt
East is Babylonia and Persia
Pleasant land = the glory of gems, the land of Israel. Only in Ezekiel 20 and Daniel here use this term of the Holy Land.
So you know this verse signifies the end times.
The whole last chapter was about these horns, and we know that these four are the beast (The political system) that rises up out of the sea (people) in Revelation 13.
We know the little horn is the false christ (Satan).

10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

Even to = as far as
Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Of the host of the stars, Stars in Heaven are the sons of God (Job 38:7) (Revelation 12:4)
For emphasis = the starry host
The people symbolized by them.
Satan is here on earth
Stamped upon them means trampled people under foot. Means change your beliefs
Note, he cast them to earth. Those angels and souls who chose to follow Satan.
Let's take this verse in the present-day sense for a moment. The man child is Jesus Christ, Who is on the right hand of God? The man child to Identity Message, born of the woman Israel.
Wouldn't Satan like to devour that particular ''child''.
Who is the dragon?
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Stamped upon them, (people are symbolized to them) meaning trampled the people under foot.
Believe it or not, you are part of that host when you witness against this evil one. Satan's standing in Jerusalem saying he is God.

11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

To = against
The Prince of the Host (God Himself, the Creator and Ruler of the starry host)
By Him..was taken: or, it took away from Him: God
Daily sacrifice the continual (burnt offering) the morning and evening sacrifice.
Its when Jesus was sacrifice for our sins.
Satan and his seed, sons of Cain was the cause of Christ's crucifixion.
Hebrews 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering often times the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
The Father therefore sacrificed His only begotten Son, so there would be no further need for the daily sacrifice.
Here we see Satan trying to take away our daily sacrifice.
How?
Satan comes in the middle of the week, saying he is God.
Satan wants you to worship him
2 Corinthians 11:13-14 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.

An host here, the word is used of a military host or group of people
In opposition to the "host" of Numbers 4:23
Satan's children can not stand truth
Little horn (Future) Satan
Satan was defiling God's truth, and the deception was successful, thus making necessary the death of Jesus Christ, which opened the way for forgiveness and salvation, not only to Israel but to the Gentiles as well.
Today, Satan's deception is here (he is the prince of this world) now.
Even some of churches will rush to worship him when he appears, saying he is Christ.
Satan will be giving them anything, if they worship him.
Hoping to be rapture away.
Revelation 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
It cast down the truth, the truth of God as revealed in the law and the prophets.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2 Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
God's elect that stand for Christ in the last days, they are against this political power that shall raise up and bring in one Worldism.
Practiced means did it with effect.

13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

"The transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot" that sums up the entire problem both then and now.

14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

We know for a fact that the cleansing of the sanctuary shall be when Christ returns, and we are given a time here of two thousand and three hundred days.
Many of you know the last time the sanctuary was cleansed was in Joshua 23:9-16 when God said, I have removed all these people from among you.
I have cleansed this sanctuary, and never again until the end will I do it.
Joshua 23:9 For the Lord hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day.
10 One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the Lord your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.
11 Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God.
12 Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:
13 Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you.
14 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the Lord your God promised you; so shall the Lord bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you.
16 When ye have transgressed the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.
Last time the sanctuary will be cleansed at the 7th vial, Christ returns

What does this mean?
The Gentile will control the Rock - The Dome of the Rock until He returns

Christ is our Rock
Deut 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
God is our Rock = His work is perfect, His word is unchangeable
God's Rock used five times in this chapter = five meaning = Grace
Deut 32:31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
Ezekiel 28 = Tyrus means rock
Their rocks is Tyrus, Satan, Devil
Ezekiel 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
Our Rock is God
1 Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

Man here is a might man, Geber here is Gabriel.
Daniel himself is trying to understand this.

16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

Gabriel means Man of God
Gabriel, The first of two angels who are named in scripture.
Daniel 9:21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
The second angel is Michael
Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Daniel 10:21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.

This vision did not concern Greece or Persia, but the very last days.
When that prancing goat is travelling about the world.
Only Jesus Christ, Daniel and Ezekiel were called "son of man" by an angel.
Psalms 8:4 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
"The time of the end" refers to the very elect, the very elect will be deliver up.
Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
"This gives the time to which this vision" refers to this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
Signs of the end: Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.

18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.

19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

The last days, another indication of the time of the fulfillment of the vision at the time appointed.
Indignation is "God's wrath poured out", at the seventh vial
Revelation 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
7th vial poured out. This cup of wrath is poured out

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.

The Ram are the two horns. They are the kings of Media and Persia, Iran of today
He saying, the ram having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.

Media in Hebrew means the Middle Land, Persia

When Persia, which means pure and splendid land, Iran of today
Here we have the beginning of the interpretation; which commences with past history with which the prophecy (which belongs to the last days) is linked on.
This is to connect the anticipatory and partial or foreshadowing, fulfillment, which shows how the "little horn" Satan will act, in a similar way as an individual, and not as a series of kings.

21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.

The great horn Grecia, is from Greece. The He-goat

The first king represents, Alexander the Great

22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

Four horns are the Four Kingdoms
Four kingdoms, these are said to have been:
1. Ptolemy's (Egypt, Palestine and some parts of Asia Minor)
2. Cassander's ( Macedonia and Greece)
3. Lysimachus's (Bithynia, Thrace, Mysia, Etc..)
Bithynia was an ancient region, kingdom and Roman province in the northwest of Asia Minor, adjoining the Propontis, the Thracian Bosporus and the Euxine Sea
4. Seleucus's ( Syria, Armenia, and territory east of the Euphrates).
But the continuity of Alexander's dominion ceased with him, and will not be seen again till "the little horn" arises, (Satan).
Nation "his nation" not in his power, not with Alexander's vigour of action and endurance.
6th vial the 4 demons loose (Revelation 9)
Daniel 8:3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
Daniel 11:4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.
5 And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

Latter time is the generation of the fig tree, May 1948
Little horn is Satan (Future)
A king of fierce countenance. This is Satan shall stand in Jerusalem saying, he is God.(Revelation 13, Satan is the second beast).
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Understanding dark sentences, skilled in dissimulation, To disguise, To conceal one's true feelings or intentions. Appearance that misrepresents the true character of something.
The latter time of their kingdom, this is the last days.
Transgressors = rebellions
Are come to the full: or, have filled up their measure.
Therefore not fulfill yet.
This is a blow to all who are vainly trying to make the world better, and to "realize the kingdom of God on earth: now.
Joel 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
Revelation 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

His power is not his own, but allowed by the Father.
It's God's plan to allow Satan power to deceive for a time.
He who He lets, will be done.

Just as Satan is counterfeiting the real Christ, these men (locusts) are counterfeiting

Thus you see the urgency of the day and of the season.
Be alert. Be aware. These are the last days.
It's a false godhead and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper. Meaning he's will pay all your bills IF you worship him. He shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
Meaning, destroy it in what way? With the great apostasy where people are deceived. Where that same political system comes to power for that 5 month period related to Revelation 9.
Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindred's, and tongues, and nations.

The holy people = People of the Holy Ones. The are "the Holy ones of the Most High''

24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

He (Satan) shall magnify himself even above Christ.. The Prince of Prince.. the Messiah
Satan will catch many off guard, those that have not studied the word of God. Christians who bask in the security of his peace, his salvation his promise.
Craft means deceit, by peace, by their prosperity or careless security.
He can cause anything you know he wants to pay off all of your bills IF you worship him. You want to get all of your bills paid. And he shall magnify himself in his heart and by peace shall destroy many and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many:
Some might ask, Why peace? I always heard it was going to be war. He comes in peacefully claiming to be Jesus. By the miracles he performs many people that are biblically illiterate are going to be deceived by it. That's why the whore was the waters of the people of the world. He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. Why? Christ is going to do it.
How does Satan come in?
By peace by their prosperity, or careless security.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed (Satan), whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Revelation 11, When Satan kills the two witnesses, after 3 1/2 days, then Christ shall return at the 7th trump and gather His Elect and the 7th vial will be poured out, and take vengeance upon this evil one (Satan) and his people.
Mark 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
7th trump - After Satan tribulation, then the sign of the Son of man in heaven:

27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

He shall be broken without hand.
No man shall break him, but God shall break him.
Revelation 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

This cup of wrath is poured out

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

Time "many days" future
This will happen in the last days.

Daniel 8:11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

None understood it, because God told him, the last generation will understand the dream, God's elect.
This happens in the last days, Signs of the end, Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.
