to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a

wickedness, and, The people against whom
the LORD hath indignation for ever.

the time that their iniquity had an end:

tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my
fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my
garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
-
A wine-press = (as crushing the grapes) a
primitive root; to crush: break, bring to nought,
utterly take.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine
heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 And I looked, and there was none to
help; and I wondered that there was none
to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought
salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 And I will tread down the people in mine
anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I
will bring down their strength to the earth.

shadow, and have left him.

hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all
that is therein; the world, and all things that
come forth of it.

nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he
hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered
them to the slaughter.
3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their
stink shall come up out of their carcases, and
the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved,
and the heavens shall be rolled together as a
scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as
the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a
falling fig from the fig tree.
5 For my sword shall be bathed in heaven:
behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon
the people of my curse, to judgment.
6 The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it
is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of
lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of
rams: for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah,
and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
7 And the unicorns shall come down with them,
and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land
shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made
fat with fatness.
8 For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and
the year of recompences for the controversy of
Zion.
9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into
pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and
the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the
smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from
generation to generation it shall lie waste;
none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
11 But the cormorant and the bittern shall
possess it; the owl also and the raven shall
dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it
the line of confusion, and the stones of
emptiness.
12 They shall call the nobles thereof to the
kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her
princes shall be nothing.

nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof:
and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a
court for owls.
14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet
with the wild beasts of the island, and the
satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl
also shall rest there, and find for herself a
place of rest.
15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and

I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and
against all Idumea, which have appointed my land
into their possession with the joy of all
their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast
it out for a prey.

-
Russia is saying, they are going to take them

13 Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your
words against me: I have heard them.
14 Thus saith the Lord God; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee
desolate.
15 As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it
was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and
all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
- Idumea = Edom
- They shall know = Ezekiel 6:10 And they shall know
that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in
vain that I would do this evil unto them.
- Obadiah 12 But thou shouldest not have looked on the
day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither
shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the
day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken
proudly in the day of distress.
- Obadiah 15 For the day of the LORD is near
upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto
thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

breaking His Laws, not only would curses come upon them.
He would punish them for seven times, (a time being 360 years, seven times would
be 2520 years) and would banish them from the land of Palestine and scatter them
among the heathens (like lost sheep)
