Judges 8

Judges 8:1 And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why hast thou served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply.

Gideon done as God told him. Don't forget this. God didn't say call Ephraim.
Chide = This was the beginning of the strife which ended in the division of the kingdom (1 Kings 12)
Ephraim = Great Britain
Midianites are the Arabians. Abraham and Keturah son

2 And he said unto them, What have I done now in comparison of you? Is not the gleaning of the grapes of Ephraim better than the vintage of Abi-ezer?

3 God hath delivered into your hands the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb: and what was I able to do in comparison of you? Then their anger was abated toward him, when he had said that.

4 And Gideon came to Jordan, and passed over, he, and the three hundred men that were with him, faint, yet pursuing them.

5 And he said unto the men of Succoth, Give, I pray you, loaves of bread unto the people that follow me; for they be faint, and I am pursuing after Zebah and Zalmunna, kings of Midian.

The men of Succoth were of Israel.
Gideon and his army needed food and water and the Succoth was too afraid to help them. They were afraid of the Midian. Look at our Government, most are afraid to do what's right. They go with the one world order.
Look at our government? Most will not do anything to help the people. They follow the one world order.
Gideon went with only 300 men. Why? God wants you to know He will take care of the wicked.
The number 300 means, The strength of the Holy Spirit of the Almighty God. (Act 2)
Numbers 13, 14 = Israel going to promised land. We are about to enter the Millennium, The Lords Day.
In the last days, the very elect (from all tribes of Israel and all races) is going to help God directly in His work. What a glorious time is ahead. His goodness will let the very elect, being the first fruits, that would suffer for Him in the near future and bring this age into "the millennium" which is the Lord's day. (Roman 11) (Ephesians 1)

6 And the princes of Succoth said, Are the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we should give bread unto thine army?

Zebah and Zalmunna, (deprived of protection), the two "kings" of Midian who commanded the great invasion of Palestine, and who finally fell by the hand of Gideon himself.
Karkor, (foundation), the place in which Zebah and Zalmunna were again routed by Gideon, must have been on the east of Jordan.

7 And Gideon said, Therefore when the Lord hath delivered Zebah and Zalmunna into mine hand, then I will tear your flesh with the thorns of the wilderness and with briers.

Notice what will happen in the last days to all that help bring in the one world order?

We do not believe the USA will go down until the 6th trump. Once Satan's 10 kings and Satan's angel setup in Jerusalem. The next 2 1/2 months, Satan will setup in Jerusalem, we will go into a one world order. (Rev 13)

9 And he spake also unto the men of Penuel, saying, When I come again in peace, I will break down this tower.

10 Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor, and their hosts with them, about fifteen thousand men, all that were left of all the hosts of the children of the east: for there fell an hundred and twenty thousand men that drew sword.

11 And Gideon went up by the way of them that dwelt in tents on the east of Nobah and Jogbehah, and smote the host: for the host was secure.

12 And when Zebah and Zalmunna fled, he pursued after them, and took the two kings of Midian, Zebah and Zalmunna, and discomfited all the host.

13 And Gideon the son of Joash returned from battle before the sun was up,

14 And caught a young man of the men of Succoth, and enquired of him: and he described unto him the princes of Succoth, and the elders thereof, even threescore and seventeen men.

15 And he came unto the men of Succoth, and said, Behold Zebah and Zalmunna, with whom ye did upbraid me, saying, Are the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we should give bread unto thy men that are weary?

16 And he took the elders of the city, and thorns of the wilderness and briers, and with them he taught the men of Succoth.

17 And he beat down the tower of Penuel, and slew the men of the city.

18 Then said he unto Zebah and Zalmunna, What manner of men were they whom ye slew at Tabor? And they answered, As thou art, so were they; each one resembled the children of a king.

19 And he said, They were my brethren, even the sons of my mother: as the Lord liveth, if ye had saved them alive, I would not slay you.

20 And he said unto Jether his firstborn, Up, and slay them. But the youth drew not his sword: for he feared, because he was yet a youth.

21 Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, Rise thou, and fall upon us: for as the man is, so is his strength. And Gideon arose, and slew Zebah and Zalmunna, and took away the ornaments that were on their camels' necks.

22 Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son's son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.

23 And Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: the Lord shall rule over you.

In the last days = Christ Will reign over all people
7th trump, Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

24 And Gideon said unto them, I would desire a request of you, that ye would give me every man the earrings of his prey. (For they had golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.)

Earrings = Hebrew word Nezem, Any ring worn in ear or nose = a nose ring in Gen, 24:47.
Because = This parenthetical remark solves the difficulty of Gen 37:25,28,36,39:1
Ishmael and Midian were half brothers, sons of Abraham by Hagar and Keturah Gen 16:11-12,, GEN 25;1-2.
Midianites were Ishmaelites, but all Ishmaelites were not Midianites.
The sons of Ishmael peopled the north and west of the Arabian peninsula, and eventually formed the chief element of the Arab nation, the wandering Bedouin tribes. They are now mostly Mohammedans who look to him as their spiritual father, as the Jews look to Abraham. Their language, which is generally acknowledged to have been the Arabic community so called, has been adopted with insignificant exceptions throughout Arabia. The term "Ishmaelite" occur on three occasions.
God renewed his promise respecting Ishmael. He does not again appear in the narrative until the weaning of Isaac. At the great feast made in celebration of the weaning, "Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had borne unto Abraham, mocking," and urged Abraham to cast him and his mother out. Comforted by the renewal of God's promise to make of Ishmael a great nation, Abraham sent them away, and they departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba. His mother took Ishmael a wife out of the land of Egypt." from the Smith Bible Dictionary.

25 And they answered, We will willingly give them. And they spread a garment, and did cast therein every man the earrings of his prey.

26 And the weight of the golden earrings that he requested was a thousand and seven hundred shekels of gold; beside ornaments, and collars, and purple raiment that was on the kings of Midian, and beside the chains that were about their camels' necks.

27 And Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even in Ophrah: and all Israel went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a snare unto Gideon, and to his house.

Ephod = Probably the priests were lax in restoring the worship of the true God.
So that Gideon would have meant well and desired to judge well.
Compare Judges 17:5, where Micah made another. The reason given being that "there was no king, and every man did what was right in his own eyes", 17:6; and 18:5, where it was used to "ask counsel"; and for the same reason, 18:1.

28 Thus was Midian subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted up their heads no more. And the country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gideon.

29 And Jerubbaal the son of Joash went and dwelt in his own house.

30 And Gideon had threescore and ten sons of his body begotten: for he had many wives.

31 And his concubine that was in Shechem, she also bare him a son, whose name he called Abimelech.

32 And Gideon the son of Joash died in a good old age, and was buried in the sepulchre of Joash his father, in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.

33 And it came to pass, as soon as Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned again, and went a whoring after Baalim, and made Baal-berith their god.

34 And the children of Israel remembered not the Lord their God, who had delivered them out of the hands of all their enemies on every side:

After the Millennium = Satan's shall be loosed out the the pit for short season.
Here we see Satan's last stand against Christ.. How many still will follow him?
The number of whom is as the sand of the sea = meaning you can't number them, they are so many.
As the sand of the sea. Some will never listen.
Revelation 11 to Rev 20 = What happens after the Millennuim, after 1000 years?
Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
The millennium is over. Blindness has been removed from all the people by the teaching of Christ and the elect.
What did Christ stated in John 9:41?
John 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
No longer can ignorance be used as a cloak of innocence.

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Here we see Satan's last stand against Christ.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
The camp of the saints, no doubt, is in the millennial temple. Built as described by Ezekiel.
Note, Satan's army does not enter into the camp, But only surround it.
There are no earthquakes or hailstones this time
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Final judgment has come.
Christ had returned for the millennium age.
Now it is past.
There is no place to hide and we see the full Godhead.
God, return with all His glory and righteousness.
2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Who are the Dead? These still have their mortal soul means liable to die.
Dead means you are spiritually dead means you don't know God's word. Without the Lord you are dead. They are dead to the truth and they do not have an opportunity to have eternal life until, After the teaching, or the end of the millennium.
Read about the dry bones in (Ezekiel 37) Luke 20:38 For He is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
At this time, the millennium is over and it time for judgment.
Without the Lord you are dead. They are spiritual dead.
If you have worshipped Satan, you will still have your mortal soul, meaning liable to die soul.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

35 Neither shewed they kindness to the house of Jerubbaal, namely, Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had shewed unto Israel.

• Exactly 2520 years from the exile of Benjamin, Iceland became an independent nation.

• The first tribe to be conquered by the Assyrians was Manasseh, in 745 B.C. Exactly 2520 years later America became a nation on July 4, 1776.

(Leviticus. 26: 28-46) God warned Israel that if they persisted in continually breaking His Laws, not only would curses come upon them.

He would punish them for seven times, (a time being 360 years, seven times would be 2520 years) and would banish them from the land of Palestine and scatter them among the heathens (like lost sheep)
