Revelation means "to be reveal, to make manifest, to uncover to
view." a disclosure, an appearing, a making manifest." The
Revelation of Jesus Christ, must therefore be the revealing, the
manifestation, the appearing of Jesus Christ.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Jesus, to show
unto his servants that which must come to pass; and he signified
it sending by His angel to his servant John; who attested the
Word of God, and the testimony of Jesus Christ, what things he saw. Blessed he who readeth,
and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and observe the
things which are written in it: for the time is near.
Christ uses
symbolic like insects, water, wind,
trees, animals, horses, seasons, all of the nature itself, to
relate something to you, because you can identify with the things
you can see.
Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine
angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the
root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning
star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that
heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And
whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Revelation 22:7 Behold, I come quickly:
blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this
book.
John revealed the outline of his prophecy in Revelation 1:19:
"Write down what you have seen - both the things that are now
happening and the things that will happen later."
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which
must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his
angel unto his servant John:
-
Let's understand the strength of
this verse.
-
This was the revelation; not of
man, but of Jesus The Christ Given to Him
-
By His Father to show
unto His servants.
-
Things which must shortly come to
pass.
-
Who are His servants?
-
His servants are the called, the
very elect, the first
fruits
-
This great nation and other
Christian nations that He has given ears to hear and
eyes to see.
-
Whereby they may understand the
things that He had to say.
-
They make up true Israel.
-
Daniel 2:29 As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy
bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth
secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.
2 Who bare record of the
word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all
things that he saw.
-
The Greek word translated as
''saw'' means both to hear and see
-
John was taken spiritually and in
as much as he was in the Spirit
-
He actually saw, heard, and witness
these things first hand.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and
they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things
which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
-
It says here, ''the time is at
hand''.
-
Remember, this is Christ's words
-
Blessed is he that read and hear the word
of this prophecy
4
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you,
and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to
come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
-
The number ''seven'', The Bible numeric, this is the
number of perfection.
-
Asia, at the time this was written,
was more or less the outer world sense.
-
It was the outer area, and it was
to spread and enlarge.
-
So this was not necessarily written
just to the churches in Asia of today.
-
But it meant outlying area. It means even the United States of
today or all people
-
Understand the terms ''which is,
which was, and to come''.
-
He was in the beginning, or before
the beginning. He came and was crucified, and He
shall return again very soon.
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and
the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of
the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins
in his own blood,
-
Christ is King of All, We know, from our studies in the
book of Daniel
-
That Christ is the one that took
away the daily sacrifice.
-
The daily sacrifice of blood as a
ritual, When He died on the cross.
-
We know that His blood was the
sacrifice for one and all times and The cleansing part of this is
simple knowing the truth and believing on Him.
-
To go one more step further is to
know your destiny and how you are to serve Him.
-
Act 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way:
for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the
Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
-
Revelation 21:24 And the nations of them
which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the
earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
6 And hath made us kings and priests
unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever
and ever. Amen.
-
Kings and priests = (to be) a kingdom (so all
texts) and (to be) priests.("a royal priesthood")
-
When the son of perdition, or false
Christ comes saying he is Christ.
-
God's very elect understand what is about to
happen.
-
They will stand
for Christ in the last days, they are
against this Satanic force, this
political power that shall
raise up and bring in one Worldism and Satan himself.
-
To let your loved ones and the
world know the truth.
-
You will be delivered up. Mark 13
7 Behold, He cometh with clouds; and
every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and
all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so,
Amen.
-
It says, ''Every Eye" shall see
Him, Even the ones who crucified Him,
the ''Kenites'' .
-
The word Kenites means sons of Cain
-
The sons of Cain who have carried
the work of Lucifer down through the years until the present day.
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the
ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to
come, the Almighty.
9 I John, who also am your brother,
and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of
Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the
word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
-
John leaves no doubt that he was
for Jesus Christ and His total word.
10 I
was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great
voice, as of a trumpet,
-
What is "The Lord Day"?
-
It is that final day, the last day
of the sixth dispensation. The day just before the millennium
begins.
-
To understand the book of
Revelation, you must understand that John was
taken from the isle of Patmos in the Spirit.
-
And was lifted up to this day,
beyond us.
-
And was shown things that would
soon happen to us.
-
This is why it is stipulated in the
2nd verse, that he saw and heard these things, was actually there
witnessing this, and time was the very last day of
this dispensation.
-
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this
one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a
thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not
slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but
that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord
will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall
pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be
burned up.
-
1000 years, means millennium, which is The Lord Day.
-
Elements means to destroy the evil things, the works of
this earth age that is evil.
11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega,
the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book,
and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto
Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira,
and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
-
Christ Himself
speaking here.
-
He wants it all written
down in a book.
-
And that book of truths given to each
and every one of the seven churches.
-
Out of Seven Churches, The Lord was only pleased with two churches.
12 And I turned to see the voice that
spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden
candlesticks;
-
I = was John
-
Who Voice?
-
Jesus Christ
13 And in the midst of the seven
candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a
garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden
girdle.
-
Son of Man, was Jesus
Christ Himself
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool,
as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
-
The eyes mirror the soul
-
With the soul that He has embodied
with Himself as, The True Son of God.
-
The eyes would set forth quite a
countenance.
-
Hairs were white like wool = Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did
sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the
pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as
burning fire.
-
He talking about Christ
-
The thrones = the seat for judgment
-
Revelation 1, also speaks of this, as well as
the description in Ezekiel of the bronze colored
object, or the mode of transportation by which
the throne of God is conveyed.
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a
furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
-
As burned = as glowing
-
Voice same as "sound"
-
The word ''waters'' is symbolic of
the peoples in Revelation.
-
He had a voice that was the sound
of many people, a voice of authority.
-
Revelation 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where
the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and
tongues.
-
Feet like unto fine brass = Ezekiel 1:7
And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was
like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of
burnished brass.
-
Daniel 7:9 I beheld till
the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did
sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the
pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as
burning fire.
-
Same voice that was token in Acts 2
16
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth
went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun
shineth in his strength.
-
Two-edged sword, Word of God's
-
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which
is the word of God:
-
God Truth is a two-edged sword, God will speak through you, all will
understand His word.
-
Matthew 24:9 But take heed to yourselves: for
they shall deliver you up
to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye
shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for
a
testimony against them.
10 And the
gospel must first be
published among all nations.
-
11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you
up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye
premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak
ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
-
He will be using His very elect as a
tool to speak through them.
-
His word, the truth is the two-edged sword,
the Holy Spirit of God will speak through you.
-
Babylon, which comes from the
Hebrew word ''Babel'', means confusion.
-
This sword of truth is going to
cause present day Babylon to fall, Because a lie cannot stand in front
of truth.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at
his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying
unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
-
What would that feel like, to have the Son of
God to lay His hands on you?
18 I am
he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for
evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
-
I am alive for evermore, the
Living One, He will return at the end of
this earth age.
-
The Lord's Day, The millennial = He
will reign with
us.
-
Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there
were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of
this world
are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he
shall reign for ever and ever.
-
For God did not say, some people,
God said, ALL people will be changed into their own spiritual body.
-
He will gather the elect to teach
with Him.
-
In Hebrews 2:14, He
tells that His purpose for coming here was to do the very things
that are entailed in this verse.
-
He came here to die, He could once and for all destroy
him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.
-
Hebrews 2:14
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he
also himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him that had the
power of death,
that is, the devil;
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which
are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
-
Understand that they were on the
Lord's day
-
At the time, the last day. He said to write about things which
are and things that shall be hereafter.
20 The
mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand,
and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the
angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which
thou sawest are the seven churches.
-
Christ used symbolic things
throughout the scriptures, whether of nature or just as a prop
to get a point across.
-
What He is saying here is that
these things John has seen are actually the seven churches that
shall be at this time. Or just prior to this, and how they
will be reacting.
-
Seven Angels are messages
-
Seven candlestick are the churches
-
God's very elect will be with the
two witnesses
-
Roman 11:4 But what saith the answer
of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who
have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
-
The seven lamps are symbolic of the
seven thousand mentioned in
Roman 11
-
Colossians 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that
which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his
body's sake, which is the church:
-
Zechariah 4:1 And the angel that talked with me
came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his
sleep,
-
Who's talking? The Angel
2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I
have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl
upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and
seven pipes
to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
The seven lamps are symbolic of the
seven thousand mentioned in
Roman 11
He
going to show us the difference between the beliefs of seven major
denominations in Christianity.
He's
showing us seven major comparisons of Christian denominations' beliefs.
