Blood

Blood is synonymous with "life"

The present psychical, "natural," or human body of " flesh and blood " has " blood " for the life thereof.

But the risen body has no " blood " ; it is " flesh and bones." Instead of " blood," it has pneuma for its life.

This pneuma gives life immortal and eternal to the risen body.

Therefore it is called "life-giving pneuma" (not life-giving "blood").

What the " blood" is to the human body, pneuma will be to the resurrection body.

" Blood " is the life of the human body, and therefore there can be no immortality for the body " except it die": except it gives up its blood. Hence the necessity of the Saviour's " shedding of blood."

This was necessary to the laying down of the life of the " first Adam," so that, in resurrection, He might become not again " a living soul " but, instead, "the second man," "a life-giving," as ' the last Adam " Man, as man, has nothing to give or to get, in "exchange for his life," or" living soul."

But for those " in Christ" there will be a blessed and glorious " exchange.

" This exchange will be " the gift of God " ; for " God giveth it a body, as it hath pleased Him " (1 Cor. 15:38).

Spiritually Dead = dead to God's Word

Genesis 9:4 life = living soul.

Blood = This is the essence and foundation of the doctrine of substitution and atonement = "life for life",

"The wages of sin is death" (Rom 6:23) and "without shedding of blood [and thus giving up the life] is no remission" (Heb 9:22).

Genesis 9:5 "blood = that is = your lives.

Roman 8:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
  • God proved His great love for us even while we are sinners, by giving His only begotten Son for our redemption.
  • Are we truly grateful?
  • Are you?
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
  • If we have this hope and faith, we are saved through Jesus Christ.
  • Even though we sins in the flesh, if we believe in Him and love Him, He lifts the burden of sin from us when we repent.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
  • If God loved us that much, because all have sinned.
  • How much more now are we saved by His life?
  • The elect who stand on the side of God will be saved, and you who study the word of God and have the deeper understanding are the elect.
  • He even is in you and you are in Him.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
  • We have received the atonement, or reconciliation, you might say, through Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
  • Not forgetting that Lucifer brought sin to Adam, what it's saying here is that after Adam, all sinned; then age and disease came into being and men knew death, because all have sinned.
Romans 8:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
  • Now the deeper students, who study the plan of God as it was before the foundation of this world, find in the scripture that it is God's plan that all men should have the right to choose between God and  Lucifer.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
  • Without the law, one cannot break the law, but with the breaking of God's law, sin abounds; yet through Christ, there is forgiveness of sin and you see and you see His precious grace in the gift He offers all men.
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Ezekiel 37:1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
  • Ezekiel 1:3 The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.
  • The midst of the valley which was full of bones =  these bones are the whole house of Israel, Therefore prophesy and say unto them
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
  • Ezekiel 37:11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
  • John 5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
  • Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.
  • John 6:5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
  • Isaiah 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be over past.
  • John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
  • These bones are the whole house of Israel
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
  • Prophesy unto them
13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.
  • Shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live
  • How did they live?
  • Prophesy unto them = teach My Word
  • Ezekiel 37:21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
15 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
  •  For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim

Exactly 2520 years from the exile of Benjamin, Iceland became an independent nation.

The first tribe to be conquered by the Assyrians was Manasseh, in 745 B.C. Exactly 2520 years later America became a nation on July 4, 1776.

(Leviticus. 26: 28-46) God warned Israel that if they persisted in continually breaking His Laws, not only would curses come upon them.

He would punish them for seven times, (a time being 360 years, seven times would be 2520 years) and would banish them from the land of Palestine and scatter them among the heathens (like lost sheep)
