Christ loves His own body, the church, for we are members of His Body

Matthews 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

1 Tim 3:14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:

15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Colossians 4:15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

Church = The Greek word ekklesia = means assembly, or a gathering of called-out ones.

Colossians 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Ephesians 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Ephesians 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

Lord the church

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

We are members of His Body

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Shall be one flesh = Men and their wives being "one flesh", a man ought to love his wife, inasmuch as she is himself, as Christ loves His own body, the church.
The apostle does not once hint that Christ is the husband, or that the church is the wife, but uses the "great mystery" of Ephesians 5:32 in regard to the reciprocal obligations of husband and wife.
1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Understand what Paul up against.
At this time, the Gentile was on the out side, so to speak.
In regard to God's covenants, they were not included, and he spoke in mysteries (or parables), you might say not only to protect himself, but also to protect this hidden truth in relation to the adoption from the church of that day and time.
Mystery = sacred secret = made holy; set apart to religious use
Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

If you believe in God, you are going to absorb His Word and His teachings. You won't be confused.
You will set Christ as your example. His example will lead you through hard times.
If you will do your best to follow His example, you will always come out a winner.

7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

If someone from another teaching = tell him to hit the road = don't let him in your church

Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

If you're going to a church that teaches God's Word, and here comes someone that joins your church and they want you to start changing God word to tradition of man. It's better to separate yourself from him.
Don't let someone come in your church and bring in tradition of man.
Tell this person to hit the road, don't let them in your church

Seven Churches of Revelation, Only Two, God Was Pleased With

Who is God talking about?
This is a church, or group of people, who know who the evil ones are.
They know the identity of the liars, the sons of Satan, the Kenites who have come from Cain all the way from the beginning.
God was not pleased with this church

Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

The church in Philadelphia
The "key of David" is the knowledge of the true genealogy of Christ
As opposed (against) the true genealogy of the false christ
It is being able to distinguish between The "wheat group" and the "tare group"
It is the knowledge of to whom the truth is written to and what their destiny is to be
No man shut, deceive, or sway the mind when the truth of the Christ resides in his heart
As Jesus taught in Revelation 3:20, "Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me."

The knowledge concerning the identity of the Kenites and their false god will protect the elect
Who will not deny His name, by accepting the false christ

9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

The key of knowledge, the key to the kingdom, and the key of David are all about having the truth which will keep you from being deceived by anti-christ.
Treasure that key.
It is the most valuable thing you can posses.
He recognizes those who claim to be God's chosen people. But in fact, are the children of Satan

God will be ...with His elect
Which shall come upon all the world
God elect are not of this world
A crown of life = a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
1 Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Hold fast to the truth of Christ
So that no man can deceive you

Over comers will I make a pillar in the temple of God
The phrase "My new name" refers directly to Revelation 14:1
Those who do not receive the mark of the beast
In their minds - they will have God's seal in their foreheads
He will place it in their minds - Verse 10
In other words, we will see the contrast between the deceived
Those who believe in the false christ and
The undeceived, those who believe in the true Christ
New Jerusalem, Which cometh down out of heaven

See how He bears down on the fact that He was dead and is alive
If you do not believe that Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected and raised from the dead by the Father, then you waste your time reading further.

This refers to Mark 13 where those, who recognize the false Christ and his children, they will be delivered up because they stood against the false Christ.
For what purpose?
For a testimony for Jesus Christ
God's elect = ye may be tried for 10 days
Who is death?
Satan = Devil

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
God's Elect will be delivered up for 10 days. God will speak through you

11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

What is this second death?
It is the result of that testing at the end of the millennium, as we see in Revelation 20:6
Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years
Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death
