Who Is Death? Satan

 

John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

• Satan lost his first estate before the foundation of the earth. Most scholars agree (Ezekiel 28)

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

 

Another name of Satan is death

 

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

 

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

 

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

 

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

 

Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

• Christ has destroyed Satan - Death and Hell.

• Luke 16: gulf in heaven has two sides,  the believers are on the right and unbelievers are on the left.

• Hell = holding place = until after the 1000 years
• look up hell.. hell is not the lake of fire
• All are devoured by His consuming Fire.
• Second death, this is the final death, this happens after the millennium
• In the millennium you are in your spiritually body,  the dead have moral soul and the elect have immoral soul.
• 1 Corinthians 15: All are raised and changed into their own spiritually body, but some will keep their moral soul which means they are spiritually dead.
• Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

What is the sword? God's word is a two-edged sword

 

Hebrew 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

• His word, the truth is the two-edged sword
• Babylon, which comes from the Hebrew word ''Babel'', means confusion.
• This sword of truth is going to cause present day Babylon to fall.
• Because a lie cannot stand in front of truth.
• Satan brings in a flood of Lies, his power is in their mouth, Confusion, deceptions, lies..he will tell you anything..IF you worship him.

Matthew 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

• 4th seal - Joel tells us about a conspiracy against God's People
