The Dome of the Rock, also called the Mosque of Omar, is the oldest Islamic shrine still in existence.
 
The rock over which it is built is believed to be Mount Moriah where Abraham prepared to sacrifice his only son Isaac.
 
The present Dome is located on the Temple Mount, In Jerusalem, the site of Solomon's Temple and its successors.
 
In Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives with the Kidron Valley in the background and the Temple Mount you can see the Dome of the Rock.
 
The Temple Mount is the ancient site of Solomon's Temple. You can see Herod's Temple of Jesus' day.
 
Exactly 2520 years from the exile of Benjamin, Iceland became an independent nation.
 
  The first tribe to be conquered by the Assyrians was Manasseh, in 745 B.C. Exactly 2520 years later America became a nation on July 4, 1776.
