Judgment Must Begin At The House of God
1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house
of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not
the gospel of God?
-
Judgment must begin at the house of God = You're going too be judged on
what you teach
There are many different kinds of burdens. Something we physically pick
up and carry a burden. Some may also think of their work as a burden.
Spiritual burdens, on the other hand, they are a completely different thing.
Many preachers today place spiritual burdens on their congregations.
Their traditions of men make void the word of God. They replace God's
word with their words. If we would stick with God's word, he will
lighten our burdens.
Isaiah 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord,
that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but
not of my
spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
Ezekiel 13:1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and
say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the
word of the Lord;
-
False prophesy = I am against them that prophesy out of
their
own hearts
-
Beware of false prophesy
-
1st seal = don't be deceived by false teaching
3 Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow
their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
-
Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen
nothing
Ezekiel 13:18 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the women that sew pillows
to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to
hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the
souls alive that come unto you?
19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for
pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the
souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear
your lies?
-
By your lying to my people that hear your lies?
-
To slay = to prophesy (falsely) that they
should be slain.
-
To save = to promise life to those
who should not live.
-
Your = indicating unwomanly character.
20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows,
wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and
I will tear them
from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that
ye hunt
to make them fly.
-
I am against your pillows, ye there hunt the
souls to make them fly, and I will tear them
from your arms
-
Fly = escape
-
I will tear = So that these wraps
could be torn away.
-
They teach people = they don't need to study
God's word, they're going to fly away
21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your
hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall
know that I am the Lord.
22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I
have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he
should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
There are two sets of books, the book of life and the book where all
your works are written down.
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven
saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from
henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours;
and their works do follow them.
Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead
(spiritually dead to God's Word), small
and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of life: and
the dead
(spiritually dead to God's Word) were judged out of those things which were
written in the books,
according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and
hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were
judged every man according to their works.
-
Notice there are two books
-
They were judged every man according to their
works
-
They may rest from their labours; and their
works do follow them
-
The only thing you can take with you, (after
the death of the flesh
body),
is your works, your "righteous acts"
-
No works, you will be naked in heaven
-
Righteous acts
Jeremiah 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep
of my pasture! saith the LORD.
-
Pastors that don't teach truth = false teachers
-
Woe means It does not matter what you put in front
of your name, if you mislead God's children God's going to correct you.
-
Jeremiah 2:8 The priests said not, Where is
the LORD? and they that handle the law
knew me
not: the pastors also transgressed against me,
and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and
walked
after things that do not profit.
2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that
feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and
have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your
doings, saith the LORD.
3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither
I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they
shall be fruitful and increase.
-
This hasn't happen yet, this happens at the 7th
trumpet
-
This is the time
of the Millennium (Revelation 20)
4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they
shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking,
saith the LORD.
-
Ezekiel 44:23 And they shall teach my people the
difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to
discern between the unclean and the clean.
-
Who are they?
-
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of
glass mingled with fire: and them that
had gotten the victory over the beast (Satan's
one worldism), and over
his image (false teaching), and over
his mark, and over the
number of his name, (Satan) stand on the sea of
glass, having the harps of God.
3 And they sing the song of Moses
the servant of God, and the
song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous
are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true
are thy ways, thou King of saints.
-
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon
them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of
them that were beheaded (John, etc..) for the witness of Jesus, and for the
word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast
(Satan), neither his
image (false hood), neither had received his mark upon their foreheads
(what you beleive), or
in
their hands (your works); and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years.
-
Romans 11:4 But what saith the answer of
God unto him? I have reserved to myself
seven thousand men, who have not bowed
the knee to the image of Baal (false teaching).
-
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself
approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
-
Ezekiel 44:15 But the priests the Levites, the
sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary
when the children of Israel went astray from me,
they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall
stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith
the Lord GOD:
-
Good reading Romans 11 and Romans 8
-
Zadok: In Hebrew means sons of
the just
-
It is repeated that the son of Zadok, the 7,000
shall minister unto the Lord.
-
Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath
part in the first resurrection: on such the
second death (Satan) hath no power, but they
shall be priests of God and of Christ,
and shall reign with him (Christ) a thousand years.
-
Blood = is synonymous with
"life" = today = prayers
-
For Life Today
Keep in mind
the promised blessing. What can you do to "keep"
or "take heed to" or "take to heart" the
message?
-
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth,
and they that hear the words of this prophecy,
and keep those things which are written therein:
for the time is at hand.
-
Blood and Fat = before Jesus died for our sins the blood
ordinances offer up
sacrifice for our sins by
the High Priests. Today our prayers we
can ask for forgiveness.
-
Before Christ
gave
himself for our sins,
Christ our
Passover is sacrificed for us.
Ezekiel 44:16 They shall enter into my
sanctuary, and they shall come near to my
table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my
charge. 17 And it shall come to pass, that when they
enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be
clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come
upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court,
and within.
18 They shall have linen bonnets upon their
heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they
shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.
19 And when they go forth into the utter
court, even into the utter court to the people, they shall put
off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the
holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they
shall not sanctify the people with their garments. 20
Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to
grow long; they shall only poll their heads.
21 Neither shall any priest drink wine,
when they enter into the inner court. 22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her
that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the
house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before.
Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a
great multitude, which no man could number, of
all nations (all races), and kindreds,
and people, and tongues, stood before
the throne, and before the Lamb,
clothed with white robes, and palms in their
hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying,
Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the
throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the
throne, and about the elders and the four
beasts, and fell before the throne on their
faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and
wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power,
and might, be unto our God for ever and ever.
Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto
me, What are these which
are arrayed in white robes? and whence
came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And
he said to me, These are
they which came out of great tribulation, and
have washed their robes, and made them white in
the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they
before the throne of God, and
serve him day and night in his temple:
and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell
among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any
more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor
any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is
in the midst of the throne shall feed them,
and shall lead them unto living fountains of
waters: and God shall wipe
away all tears from their eyes.
Good reading Ezekiel 44, Revelation 20, 21, 22
5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a
righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute
judgment and justice in the earth.
-
What day? The Lord's Day
-
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord
as a thousand years, and a
thousand years as one day.
9 The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10
But the day of the Lord will come as a
thief in the night; in
the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and
the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and
the works that are therein shall be burned up.
-
Thief in the
night means you don't know God's word, you
have not studied to shew yourself approved.
-
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself
approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
-
Branch = Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come
forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a
Branch shall grow out of his roots:
- Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest
upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of
counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of
the LORD;
- Jeremiah 33:15 In those days, and at that time, will
I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and
he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
- Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is
given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his
name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
- Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government
and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of
David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it
with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
-
Branch = Sprout from the root, not from a branch
-
The name of the brightest star in the Zodiac
sign "Virgo".
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and
this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
-
What day?
The Lord's day
-
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord
as a thousand years, and a
thousand years as one day.
-
Revelation 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the
third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there
were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of
this world
are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he
shall reign for ever and ever.
-
The seventh angel that sounds the
seventh trumpet in this verse, continues to sound through Revelation
20:15
-
We have covered a great deal of
time in this 11th chapter, even the end.
-
Christ has already returned and His
kingdom has come in forever and ever
-
Because there is still one more woe
to come, He is assuring us here that He shall reign supreme.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which
sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and
worshipped God,
They're in heaven doing what?
They're Worshipping God
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord
God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou
hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come,
and the time of the dead (spiritually dead to God Word), that they should be judged, and that
thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and
to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no
more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out
of the land of Egypt;
8 But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the
house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither
I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones
shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome,
because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their
course is evil, and their force is not right.
-
Adulterers is Idolater, they worship idols
-
Their force is not right, the false prophets
11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea,
in my house have I
found their wickedness, saith the LORD.
12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the
darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring
evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
• Exactly 2520 years from the exile
of Benjamin, Iceland became an independent nation.

The first tribe to be
conquered by the Assyrians was Manasseh,
in 745 B.C. Exactly 2520 years later America became a nation on July 4, 1776.
(Leviticus. 26: 28-46) God warned Israel that if they persisted in continually
breaking His Laws, not only would curses come upon them.
He would punish them for seven times, (a time being 360 years, seven times would
be 2520 years) and would banish them from the land of Palestine and scatter them
among the heathens (like lost sheep)
