Judges 6, The Kings of the East, The Midianites, 6th Vial Revelation 16:12
                                                                                                                                  

 

After a lapse of some years, the Midianites appear again as the enemies of the Israelites, oppressing them for seven years, but are finally defeated with great slaughter by Gideon

The Midianites are described as true Arabs, and possessed cattle and flocks and camels as the sand of the seashore for multitude. The spoil taken in the war of both Moses and of Gideon is remarkable.

 

Judges 6:1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.

• The children of Israel are the 12 tribes of Israel.
• The Christians nations today, they did evil in the sight of the Lord
• Midianites are the Arabians Nations
• The Lord delivered the children of Israel into the hand of Midian for seven years.
• Why? Because of their evil ways.
• In the book of Hosea chapters 2, 4, 7, 8. 9 gives a pretty good glance at the sad state of His people in this day. God says, Israel (the 12 Christian Nations) has slideth back as a backslider, they are half-baked; strangers have taken over their power, and they are no longer young and don't even realize it.

2 And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.

3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;

• 6th vial, Kings of the East Rev 16:12 here we see we are to watch these nations. Because these things will happen right up to the 6th vial. Dan 11
• Rev 13:18 Satan's number is 666, meaning Satan comes at the 6th vial, 6th trump and the 6th seal

• What was going on the time of Noah? The fallen angels were here. This is why God flooded the earth.

4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.

• They take everything, they left no sustenance for the Christian Nations, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.
• This is looking just like today, gas up, food up, etc... if you have any. 
• Till thou come unto Gaza. Russia is at the borders of Israel now, Russia In Syria

5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.

• 5th trump or 1st woe = Revelation 6:9-10, we are watching and observing, for they know that Michael is about to cast Satan and his angels onto the earth. Which begins Satan's tribulation.

• Michael = Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel (Michael) come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
  2 And he (Michael) laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
  3 And cast him (Satan) into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
• Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
  8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
  9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world (Satan's one world order): he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Rev 8, 13 & 17)

  3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellers, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up (Satan's one world order); and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

6 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord.

• How many times do you pray saying how long Lord before you correct the wicked?

7 And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord because of the Midianites,

• This is where we are now in God's word.
• The 5th seal, And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
• Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
• Fifth Seal open, This Is the time of teaching, & they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord
• Notice, the souls are under the altar, not in the ground
• As the eulogies say in a the ground in a burial service
• Your soul goes back to God, from whence it came
• They're saying.. . how long Lord?
Revelation 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
• The phrase, "avenge our blood on them on earth", proves that they had been in this world and were offended by the children of Satan.
• Souls that were killed by Satan Children's - John was beheaded...etc..
• Who are the wicked? The Midianites, there are good and bad in all races

8 That the Lord sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;

• The Lord going sent a prophet to help the Christian Nations, and God's  very elect. The two witnesses Rev 11, Rev 16 and Zech 4.
• Could that be Elijah and Moses?
• He would be saying which said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage
• Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
  6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
• Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

• Romans 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

9 And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;

10 And I said unto you, I am the Lord your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice.

• Then they pray to The Lord to help us

11 And there came an angel of the Lord, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abi-ezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.

• An oak = the oak, as being well known.
• Joash = God gave.
• Gideon = cutter down.
• By the winepress = in the winepress. Shows the straits of the people. Compare vvith Judges 6:2-6. Threshing-floor exposed, winepress sunk in ground.

12 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

• The Sons of God = angels
• Job 1:6 sons of God = angels

13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? but now the Lord hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.

• Rev 16:8 = 4th vial = The two witnesses are here teaching God's word. Gathering the very elect. Zech 4
• Gideon means cutter down
• Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord
• Judges 6:1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
• Any time you report what's going on in the world = You are tearing down Satan's altar of Baal and building the  Altar unto The Lord

14 And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

• The angels of The Lord, appeared to Gideon, telling him God's going to use him to bring the Christians nations and God's very elect out of bondage and save Israel.
• It's not Gideon that save Israel its God that saved Israel.
• God will use someone to bring us out of bondage, I believe 7 to 30 days before the 5th trump. Rev 11 and Zech 4.
• Thy might =  His might lay in the knowledge of God's strength

15 And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.

• The tribe of Manasseh = USA, Canada, and all gathering tribes
• Israel = the tribes of Israel
• Bible study USA the tribe of Manasseh. We are talking about the nation. Not all people are of Israel. You have the good and bad in all nations.
• We know John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 And he said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, then shew me a sign that thou talkest with me.

18 Depart not hence, I pray thee, until I come unto thee, and bring forth my present, and set it before thee. And he said, I will tarry until thou come again.

19 And Gideon went in, and made ready a kid, and unleavened cakes of an ephah of flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot, and brought it out unto him under the oak, and presented it.

• 1st thing Gideon done = Unleavened. For offering: sacrifice
• Unleavened cakes = is our Passover today
• Ephah = About 6 cubits, or about 3 1/2 English yards.
• A basket = the tray. Hebrew word sal, always connected with royalty, or sacrifice.
• A pot = the pot.

20 And the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so.

21 Then the angel of the Lord put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the Lord departed out of his sight.

• Unleavened cakes = is our Passover today
• 1 Corinthians 5:3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

22 And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the Lord, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord God! for because I have seen an angel of the Lord face to face.

23 And the Lord said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.

24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.

25 And it came to pass the same night, that the Lord said unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it:

26 And build an altar unto the Lord thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down.

• God told Gideon to tear down Baal, Satan's one world order and build an altar unto The Lord
• Rock = strong place.
• Ordered place, or due order.
• As = according as.
• Last Days any time you teach God's word = you're a type of Gideon. You are tearing down Satan's altar of Baal and building the Altar unto The Lord

27 Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the Lord had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father's household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.

• Ten = is the number for ordinal perfection, is one of the perfect number, the perfection of Divine order, commencing "to begin or start" , as it does, altogether new series of  numbers - the whole system - completeness of order, making the entire round of anything, it implies that nothing is wanting.
  Responsible and judgment
  Denotes Ordinal perfection. Another new first; after the ninth digit, when numeration commences anew.
  Noah completed the antediluvian age in the tenth generation from God.

• Why? They believe in the one world order and they will get MONEY.

28 And when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was cast down, and the grove was cut down that was by it, and the second bullock was offered upon the altar that was built.

29 And they said one to another, Who hath done this thing? And when they inquired and asked, they said, Gideon the son of Joash hath done this thing.

30 Then the men of the city said unto Joash, Bring out thy son, that he may die: because he hath cast down the altar of Baal, and because he hath cut down the grove that was by it.

31 And Joash said unto all that stood against him, Will ye plead for Baal? will ye save him? he that will plead for him, let him be put to death whilst it is yet morning: if he be a god, let him plead for himself, because one hath cast down his altar.

32 Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal plead against him, because he hath thrown down his altar.

• Jerubbaal = Let Baal plead
• 1 Samuel 12:11 And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe.
• How did the men know Gideon done this?

33 Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of Jezreel.

• Verse 30, What did Gideon do? Now what cause this war? Gideon cast down the altar of Baal, the woman Jezebel in the last days. There god is Satan, just like most of the leaders today. (Rev 17)

• East =The Hebrew term kedem properly means that which is before or in front of a person, and was applied to the east form the custom of turning in that direction when describing the points of the compass, before, behind, the right and the left representing respectively east, west, south and north.

• Hath sworn =  "Surely the hand (lifted up) upon the banner of Jah (is to swear): for the war of God against Amalek is to be from generation to generation". So it was. It was carried on by Ehud .
• Ehud - Judges 3:13 And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.
  14 So the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.
  15 But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man left handed: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab.
• Barak - Judges 5:14 Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
• Gideon - Judges 6:3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;

  13 And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.
  14 And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.

  3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
  4 And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.

  8 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
  9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
• Samuel  - 1 Samuel 15:32 Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
  33 And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

  3 So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.
  4 Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.

  14 We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongeth to Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.
  15 And David said to him, Canst thou bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear unto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring thee down to this company.
  16 And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.
  17 And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.

• Mordecai  - Esther 3:1 After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him.
  2 And all the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence.
  3 Then the king's servants, which were in the king's gate, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou the king's commandment?
  4 Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
  5 And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.
  6 And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.

34 But the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abi-ezer was gathered after him.

• Abi-ezer was of the tribe of Manasseh
• Spirit = Hebrew word ruach = Holy Spirit
• Came upon = clothed. Hebrew word labash, to put on so as to fill.
• Gathered: gathered by proclamation.

35 And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh; who also was gathered after him: and he sent messengers unto Asher, and unto Zebulun, and unto Naphtali; and they came up to meet them.

• Manasseh = today USA, Canada and all gathering tribes
• Asher = Sweden
• Zebulun = France
• Naphtali = Norway
• 13 tribes of Israel
• We're talking about the nations, there are good and bad in all nations

36 And Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said,

37 Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.

• Floor = threshing-floor.

38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.

39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.

• Exactly 2520 years from the exile of Benjamin, Iceland became an independent nation.

 

•  The first tribe to be conquered by the Assyrians was Manasseh, in 745 B.C. Exactly 2520 years later America became a nation on July 4, 1776.

(Leviticus. 26: 28-46) God warned Israel that if they persisted in continually breaking His Laws, not only would curses come upon them.

He would punish them for seven times, (a time being 360 years, seven times would be 2520 years) and would banish them from the land of Palestine and scatter them among the heathens (like lost sheep)
