Luke 11
Luke 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain
place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach
us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in
heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in
heaven, so in earth.
-
Pray to the Father, and "ask it would be God's will"
-
This is the example of how to pray, and you have
to ask God what you need
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
-
Daily bread = The bread of Life = Jesus
4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is
indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from
evil.
-
This is an example of how to pray, but God
doesn't just want this alone
-
Always talk to the Lord, and ask it to be His will
-
Pray to the Father and ask what you need in Jesus name
-
Our Father want to hear from you, talk to Him
-
If you want more wisdom, ask for it.
-
Example of how to ask for more wisdom
-
Our Father which art in heaven, I ask You for more
wisdom in Your Word, to help others and myself,
for I ask it In Jesus name, Amen.
-
Pray to the Father and ask in Jesus Name
-
John 16:26 At that day ye shall ask in my name:
and I say not unto you, that I will pray the
Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye
have loved me, and have believed that I came out
from God.
-
Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain
repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think
that they shall be heard for their much
speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your
Father knoweth what things ye have need of,
before ye ask him.
-
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he
shall give you another Comforter, that he may
abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world
cannot receive, because it seeth him not,
neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he
dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come
to you.
5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go
unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;
-
It took hours to cook bread
6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing
to set before him?
7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is
now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give
thee.
-
Jesus said, I don't want to be trouble you
8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is
his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as
many as he needeth.
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall
find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
-
Ask = You have to ask Him
-
Knock = Action on your part
-
It shall be given you = to do God work
-
Seek ye shall find = seek out His word
-
ye shall find
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and
to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
-
Search out the word, and He will give you the
truth
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give
him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
-
Always ask in His will
-
If you ask for bread, He's not going to give you
a stone, because Jesus is the true Rock
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
-
If you ask for the truth, He not going to give
you a scorpion
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit
to them that ask him?
-
1. If you ask
-
2. seek
-
3. He will give you His Word
-
4. If it be His Will
-
He's not going you give you something that will
harm you, it's has to be His will
14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass,
when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.
-
Jesus cast out devils, the man was healed and
could speak, and the people didn't beleive
15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the
chief of the devils.
16 And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
-
They wanted a sign from heaven, and Jesus was
right there with them
-
They saw Him cast out the devils, and wanted a
sign from heaven
17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided
against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a
house falleth.
18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom
stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them
out? therefore shall they be your judges.
-
Their sons couldn't cast out devils
20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom
of God is come upon you.
-
The finger of God = Holy Spirit
-
Exodus 8:19 Then the magicians said unto
Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and
Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened
not unto them; as the LORD had said.
-
20 And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up
early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh;
lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto
him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that
they may serve me.
21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
-
He can take care of things
22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he
taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his
spoils.
-
He can take him down, Jesus is saying cast out the
devil.
23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with
me scattereth.
-
Any one that works against God Word, is again
God
-
Anti-christ.. Satan is coming, are you going to
follow God or Satan (Mark 13)
24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry
places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my
house whence I came out.
-
You have to sent the evil spirits back to where
they came from, if not they will go into someone
else or back into the person you ordered the
evil spirit from.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
-
The boy could talk, what is the thing He telling
them
-
He saying, order out evil spirits, and sent them
back to where they came from, and ask in Jesus
name.
26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than
himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that
man is worse than the first.
-
You can't leave a person without finishing the
whole thing
-
You order out evil spirit, and sent them back
where they come from and ask in Jesus name
27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the
company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that
bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
-
Blessed is the womb that bare thee
28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God,
and keep it.
29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say,
This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be
given it, but the sign of Jonah the prophet.
-
Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly
-
Jonah 1:17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah
was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
-
Jesus was three days and three nights in the
heart of the earth.
-
Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the
sign of the prophet Jonah:
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so
shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the
earth.
41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and
shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and,
behold, a greater than Jonah is here.
42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this
generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts
of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than
Solomon is here.
30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of
man be to this generation.
-
The Ninevites = They must therefore have
known of the miracle connected with him.
31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of
this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of
the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than
Solomon is here.
32 The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation,
and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and,
behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place,
neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in
may see the light.
34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single,
thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy
body also is full of darkness.
35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark,
the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle
doth give thee light.
37 And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him:
and he went in, and sat down to meat.
38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first
washed before dinner.
39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the
outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of
ravening and wickedness.
40 Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which
is within also?
41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all
things are clean unto you.
42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner
of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to
have done, and not to leave the other undone.
43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the
synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves
which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus
saying thou reproachest us also.
-
No surprisingly this was a "scripture" lawyer,
today they're called preachers.
46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with
burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens
with one of your fingers.
47 Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your
fathers killed them.
-
Sharpen up! They build the sepulchres, putting
their names on them, for whom their fathers
murdered.
48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for
they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.
-
Their fathers were Kenites, the sons of Cain
49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and
apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
-
God knew this would happen from the
beginning.
-
There is a controversy between God and
Satan.
-
Satan is going to try the very elect every
chance he gets, as long as you allow it.
-
Use the knowledge you have to order Satan
out of your life, order Satan to go back where
he came from, in the name of Jesus Christ.
50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the
foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
-
Translate the word "generation" as
"offspring" = "evil" and "adulterous"
-
Who's offspring are we talking about?
-
All this because it was the particular
generation that rejected the Messiah
-
Acts 2:40 And with many other words did
he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves
from this untoward generation.
51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished
between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be
required of this generation.
-
We know what generation this is.
-
We also know who slew Abel.
-
Cain slew Abel. Cain's offspring are
called Kenites
-
John 8:39 They answered and said unto him,
Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them,
If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the
works of Abraham.
40 But now ye seek to kill me,
a man that hath told you the truth, which I have
heard of God: this did not Abraham.
41 Ye do the deeds of your father.
Then said they to him, We be not born of
fornication; we have one Father, even
God.
-
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were
your Father, ye would love me: for I
proceeded forth and came from God; neither came
I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even
because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your
father the devil, and the lusts of your father
ye will do. He was a murderer
from the beginning, and abode not in
the truth, because there is no truth in
him. When he speaketh a lie, he
speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the
father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth,
ye believe me not.
-
If you have the key of knowledge, this
isn't difficult to understand.
-
Christ identified another seed line, one that
also has prophets and apostles, yet they slay
the men of God.
-
And they crucified the Lord, our Saviour
-
The Key of David, that opens doors that no man
can shut, it seals the truth in the minds of
those with a destiny to serve the Lord.
-
The Kenites, those who claim to be of Judah, but
lie, and are truly of the synagogue of Satan.
-
Revelation 2:9
I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty,
(but thou art rich) and I know the
blasphemy of them which say they are
Jews, and are not, but are
the synagogue of Satan.
52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge:
ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye
hindered.
-
They have taken away the Key of knowledge and
replaced it with a tainted key.
-
One they have fashioned to look as though it
fits the lock, just as they built the sepulchers
and changed the names.
-
It is all to confuse and hide the true line of
Christ.
-
They're moved their place into the place of the
inheritors - the heirs of the promise.
-
And they await their false Messiah
-
Does God expect you to attack them and publicly
identify them?
-
No
-
God said to let them grow, because if you try
pulling up tares, you will uproot some wheat.
-
He has a hot fire burning for the time of their
harvest.
-
Besides, so many are so brainwashed that they
would probably try to destroy you and protect
them, all "good Christian love".
-
The key is not a thing of violence, but of
knowledge of the plan of the living God.
-
Know what and where the Key of David is and
where the false one is for indeed He has given
you the genealogies and as a part of the church
of Philadelphia you have His promise.
-
The Kenites the scripture lawyers that try
to take away the key of knowledge by changing
God's Word and other references works, such as
the Strong's Concordance.
-
If you take away people's ability to check
out the manuscripts, they are required to take
man's word for it.
-
Give me God's Word which is the key of
knowledge.
-
We need to be very vigilant. The enemy is
quite determined.
53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees
began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many
things:
-
Jesus was performing many miracles, and the religious leaders sought to
kill Him.
-
They slew Abel, Zacharias, and wanted to slay Jesus.
-
They have no conscience you must have the key of knowledge to identify
this enemy.
-
See that no man deceive you.
-
Matthew 23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the
righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have
been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that
ye are the children of them which killed the
prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of
your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye
escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and
scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some
of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to
city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth,
from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias
son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the
altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest
them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy
children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye
would not!
54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth,
that they might accuse him.
-
Laying wait for = watching
-
Catch = Both are hunting expressions
-
They wanted to kill Jesus
