Messiah will come and take over the burden, but
until then God had duties and obligations that
He gives to His servants.

As an analogy, imagine a neighbor leaving you to

will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more
out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the
city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven
from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

The phrase "My new name" refers
directly to Revelation 14:1. Those who do not receive the mark of
the beast in their minds will have God's seal in their
foreheads. He will place it in their minds. In other words,
we will see the contrast between the deceived, those who believe in
the false christ, and the undeceived, those who believe in the true
Christ.
