1 John 1

1 John 1

1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
  • It's God wisdom, that helps us understand the three world ages
  • He'll touches you, eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us
  • 1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
  • John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
  • Shew = report
  • Acts 4:23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.
3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
  • Declare = same word as shew = report
  • That = in order that
  • Where you have the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit
  • Talk and ask God to help you
  • Fellowship = 1 Cor 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
  • Full = fulfilled or filled full
  • John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
  • God Is The Light, Satan Is Darkness
  • The Light, the truth = God
  • No = at all = A double negative
  • Satan = darkness
  • 4th trumpet = 1/3 of the Christians are spiritual dead to GOD'S WORD
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
  • If you walk in darkness, you lie to yourself
  • You have no truth within you
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
  • This refers to the Father
  • One with another = with one another
  • Not with fellow-believers, but with the Father and the Son
  • Jesus cleanseth us from ALL our sins
  • What's the unforgiveable sin?
  • Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven.
  • The unforgiveable sin, when God's elect is deliver up and you refuse the Holy Spirit to speak through you.
  • You have to be one of God's elect for this to happen
  • Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten (mocked): and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
  • 10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
  • No = not
  • Sin = to be unwise = to be a fool = dead man waking
  • We all sin, that's why we, try to do what's right, and ask for forgiven
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
  • In order that He might forgive
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
  • All sin, if you say you haven't sin, you make Him a liar
