Work - Do
Not Steal - God doesn't Like A Lazy Person.Who Are The POOR?
They are the HANDICAPPED -
Disabled People...
-
God knows
your heart..
-
God's
not
talking about the disabled people
-
Today you're lucky to have a job..
-
God's talking to the lazy people = The .... Give Me ....People
Exodus 30:15 The
rich shall not give more, and the
poor shall not give less than half a
shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD,
to make an atonement for your souls.
Jeremiah 5:26 For
among my people are found wicked men: they
lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set
a trap, they catch men.
2
Thessalonians
3:6 Now we
command you,
brethren, in the
name of our Lord
Jesus Christ,
that ye withdraw
yourselves from
every brother
that walketh
disorderly,
and not after
the tradition
which he
received of us.
-
This word "disorderly" in the Greek indicates laziness.
-
Withdraw from one who walks lazily in contradiction to teaching he
received of us who work hard or serve with diligence.
7 For yourselves
know how ye
ought to follow
us: for we
behaved not
ourselves
disorderly among
you;
8 Neither did
we eat any man's
bread for nought;
but wrought
with labour and
travail night
and day,
that we might
not be
chargeable to
any of you:
-
We sponged on no one, but worked for our keep.
9 Not because we
have not power,
but to make
ourselves an
ensample unto
you to follow
us.
-
We set an example for you.
10 For even when
we were with
you, this we
commanded you,
that
if any would not
work,
neither should
he eat.
-
If you're not going to work, "IF you're able" = neither should you eat
11 For we hear
that there are
some which walk
among you
disorderly,
working not at
all,
but
are busybodies.
-
God knows your heart...
-
Busybodies... These people do not work .. they think we should give them everything..
-
Because they listen to the lies of the world ...Satan is the prince of this world.
-
Busybodies... lazy people... they are the give-me people = trouble makers
-
Earn your own living.
-
Don't be idle with time for gossip and untruths.
-
Paul is talking to people that can work, and think they do not have
to work.. they think you are to pay their way.
-
Why they go out being
busybodies, causing trouble and gossip causing trouble.
-
He's not talking to the handicap that's disable and cannot work
12 Now them that
are such we
command and
exhort by our
Lord Jesus
Christ, that
with quietness
they work,
and eat their
own bread.
13 But ye,
brethren,
be not
weary in well
doing.
-
Don't tire of doing what's right
14 And if any
man obey not our
word by this
epistle,
note
that man,
and have
no company with
him,
that he may
be ashamed.
Proverbs
6:6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
-
A sluggard is a lazy person.
-
Sluggard = OT:6101 to be indolent or slack:
-
If you want to know what God wants you to do,
watch the ant?
-
And do your best to imitate her.
-
For the ant is better than lazy person, for the
know when to work and when to rest
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
-
The ant works through the summer to gather
enough food to last through the winter.
-
She doesn't need any help from the government.
-
The ant gets it done. It is that simple.
-
God
is not
talking about the disabled people
8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the
harvest.
-
An ant knows when to work, when to sleep.
-
But a lazy person, they don't care.
-
Theses are the give me people.
9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy
sleep?
-
Sleeping often accompanies procrastination.
-
God
is not
talking about the disabled people
-
This is not addressed to people that can't work.
-
This is addressed to the lazy people that don't
think they have to work.
-
Many today think it's okay not to work.
-
Many today are spiritually asleep.
-
When will they wake up?
10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands
to sleep:
11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an
armed man.
12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
-
If the ant kicked the can down the road until
tomorrow, she would starve to death come winter.
-
A froward mouth is perverse.
-
A froward mouth never says anything wise.
13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with
his fingers;
14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he
soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be
broken without remedy.
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination
unto him:
-
Six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an
abomination unto him
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
-
A proud look,
-
A lying tongue
-
Hands that shed innocent blood
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in
running to mischief,
-
Heart that deviseth wicked imaginations
-
Feet that be swift in running to mischief
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among
brethren.
Proverbs
26:13 The
slothful
man
saith, There is
a lion in the
way; a lion is
in the streets.
-
Now we go back to lazy man
-
What will a lazy person say, there a lion in
street, I can't go today.
-
Any reason not to work.
-
You are better off not to have a lazy person
around you
14 As the
door turneth
upon his hinges,
so doth the
slothful upon
his bed.
-
A lazy person is likeness to same a door, as if he
turns in the bed from one side to another side.
-
He not
talking about the disabled people
-
Many people falls on hard times, it's okay to
get help.
-
It's the lazy person that able to work.
-
These thinks he don't have to, because he wants
tax payers to pay his bills.
15 The slothful
hideth his hand
in his bosom;
it grieveth him
to bring it
again to his
mouth.
-
Hideth = burieth
-
Bosom = dish
-
He so lazy, he wants someone to feed him
-
It grieveth him = It is hard for him, or he is
too lazy
-

2 Thessalonians
311 For we hear
that there are
some which walk
among you
disorderly,
working not at
all,
but
are busybodies.
16 The
sluggard is
wiser in his
own
conceit than
seven men that
can render a
reason.
-
You can have seven sluggards, (lazy men) and
one man that will work.
-
The man that works can
do more than seven lazy men.
17 He that
passeth by,
and
meddleth with
strife belonging
not to him,
is like one that
taketh a dog by
the ears.
-
A Lazy person is like a door hinge
-
They go back and forward = never doing anything
-
It grieveth him - It hard for him - or he's too lazy
-
Meddleth = Vexeth himself
-
Sluggard is wiser in his own conceit
-
God is not talking about the disabled people ... God talking to = the lazy people
|
Proverbs 20:4 The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he
beg in harvest, and have nothing.
-
Sluggard = lazy person
-
Plow, plowing always done during the early rains
-
Cold = Autumn
-
Cold put for Autumn, and Autumn put for
abundance of fruit possessed at that time
5 Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of
understanding will draw it out.
-
Deep water is real still, a wise person knows
where to find understanding
-
A person with wisdom will
know, where to find knowledge, in God's word
6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man
who can find?
-
If you tell someone you're going to do
something, do it
-
Keep your word, and you're going to be
successful
-
His word is better than a contract
7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after
him.
-
If you teach your children what's right, they're
going to do what's right; as they become adults
-
Blessed = happy
-
Man walketh in his integrity = This is a person
that has a job, and they will work.
-
A lazy person works hard at not doing anything.
8 A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil
with his eyes.
-
A good king does what's right
9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
-
Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man
upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
-
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
-
Can = is able to
-
I am Pure, illustration: Job before he learned
his lesson (Job 9:17)
10 Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike
abomination to the Lord.
-
He's has two sets of weights
-
One to buy from and another to sell, He cheats
people
-
God doesn't like it, it's
abomination to the Lord
11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his
work be pure, and whether it be right.
-
Pure = accurate
-
Right = correct
-
Your actions tells people what kind of person
you are.
-
The two sets of balances = one to buy and one to
sell
-
You're judged on your works, no rewards for the
wicked
-
Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small
and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of life: and
the dead
were judged out of those things which were written in the books,
according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and
hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were
judged every man according to their works.
-
Notice there are two books
-
They were judged every man according to their
works
-
They may rest from their labours; and their
works do follow them
-
The only thing you can take with you, (after
the flesh body dies),
is your works, your "righteous acts"
-
No works, you will be naked in heaven
12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made even
both of them.
-
If you're studying God's word and listening,
God's going to give you wisdom.
13 Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou
shalt be satisfied with bread.
-
This is talking about a lazy person.
-
He's not
talking about the disabled people
-
Come to poverty = become dispossessed
14 It is naught, it is naught, saith the buyer: but when he is gone his
way, then he boasteth.
-
This is a person that tries to rip people off,
then he goes and boasteth about how he cheated
to get it.
-
Naught = very bad
-
If you cheated people, it's not long before you
lose more than you cheated someone
15 There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge
are a precious jewel.
-
This is someone with wisdom and knowledge
1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and
specially for those of his own house, he hath denied
the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
-
Infidel = unbeliever
-
If any provide not for his own = Men are supposed
to take care of their family
-
If you're not taking care of your family, you are
worse than an unbeliever
Matthews 25:26 His
lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful
servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather
where I have not strawed:
-
Thou wicked and slothful servant = You lazy
person
27 Thou oughtest therefore to
have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I
should have received mine own with usury.
28 Take
therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath
ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall
be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath
not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30 And
cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there
shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
-
This is a lazy person that thinks he knows it
all, but he' a fool.
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and
carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and
cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
-
Or, we will be adult in mind, no longer poorly
instructed so that we sway this way or that way,
but knowing the truth surely, knowing the
fullness of the Gospel as it is recorded in the
Word of God.
-
This craftiness whereby they make a lie
sound like the truth is impossible in
the face of the full truth as the elect
understand the Holy Bible being instructed by
the Holy Spirit.
-
Who is the cunning bearer of this world at this
time?
-
It is Satan of course, and this has reference to
your over coming him when he appears here.
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things,
which is the head, even Christ:
-
You will speak the truth.
-
You will live the truth, speaking the truth one
to another, this is what it really means in the
Greek.
-
And how will you speak? In love, as it is
recorded in the word.
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that
which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the
measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of
itself in love.
-
We are as a body that fits together joint by
joint, all working together using our individual
gifts or talents to bring in the fulness of
Jesus Christ.
-
Many would say this refers to the church.
-
Call it that if you like.
-
It is His disciples.
-
It is His elect.
-
It is you.
Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which
is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
-
You cut off the old way of doing things, or your
old self.
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
-
This word renewed in the Greek indicates a kind
of funneling of your whole life and mind into a
new stream of though.
-
Am I agreeing with the churches that teach, if
you do this or that, you're going to hell?
-
No
-
It is saying here, you realize who the real
Christ is.. I want you to be aware of the truth
that is in Jesus.
-
The truth is in Jesus, the true Messiah.. not in
Satan, the false christ.
-
Renew your thoughts in Christ: remain steady in
your faith and not let Satan deceive you.
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in
righteousness and true holiness.
-
What is true holiness?
-
It is living in and by the truth.
-
Now until you understand the full identity, know
who you are, know Jesus, He is the true Christ,
know who the false christ is, Satan and then it
is impossible for you to put on a new man or
self knowing where you are going and what's
going to happen in the near future.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his
neighbor: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
-
Anger can lead you to sin.
-
Don't nurse it.
27 Neither give place to the devil.
-
Anger clouds your judgment and makes it easy for
the devil to lure you.
-
As an example
-
Anger at things that happen to our people could
lead us to error, and we're not speaking of a
minor mistake when we speak of His people as a
nation.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working
with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him
that needeth.
-
This is the right way to live of course, but it
also can include those who steal a birthright,
and I refer to the Kenites (sons of the devil).
-
If he hopes to overcome, he must stop saying he
is an Israelite, thereby stealing the birthright
of a whole nation.
-
This applies nationally and individually.
Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil
speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
-
It should have no place in your life.
-
Be understanding.
-
If you of the elect are offended by a Kenite,
understand he has a purpose and his destiny.
-
This s part of God's plan.
-
You are an adult now.
32 And be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another,
even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
