Ezekiel 6
Book of Ezekiel
Ezekiel 6:1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy
against them,
3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the
Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys;
Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high
places.
4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will
cast down your slain men before your idols.
-
God not happy with Israel and the false teacher
-
The men our spiritually drad to God's Word
(Ezekiel 37 the bones)
5 And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols;
and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
-
Ezekiel 37:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these
bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones,
and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the
LORD. 5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these
bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall
live: 6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up
flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and
ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 7
So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a
noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to
his bone. 8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the
flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but
there was no breath in them.
6 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid
waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars
may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and
cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
-
Your cities shall be laid waste
7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the
Lord.
8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword
among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
-
I will leave a remnant that shall escape = those
that teach God's Word
-
Romans 11:4 But what saith the answer of
God unto him? I have reserved to myself
seven thousand men,
who have not bowed the knee to the image of
Baal.
9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they
shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which
hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their
idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed
in all their abominations.
-
They that escape of you shall remember me among
the nations
-
Most of Israel don't even know who they are
-
I am broken with their whorish heart = it
read "I have broken them"
10 And they shall know that I am the Lord, and that I have not said in vain that
I would do this evil unto them.
11 Thus saith the Lord God; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and
say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall
fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
-
He's saying give them a warning
12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall
fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the
famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
-
God's not angry with those that try to do what's
right
-
The only reason for this earth age is = God need
too know if you Love HIM
-
Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith
the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the
land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for
water, but of hearing the words of the
LORD:
13 Then shall ye know that I am the Lord, when their slain men shall be among
their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of
the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place
where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
14 So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea,
more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and
they shall know that I am the Lord.
• Exactly 2520 years from the exile
of Benjamin, Iceland became an independent nation.
•
The first tribe to be
conquered by the Assyrians was Manasseh,
in 745 B.C. Exactly 2520 years later America became a nation on July 4, 1776.
(Leviticus. 26: 28-46) God warned Israel that if they persisted in continually
breaking His Laws, not only would curses come upon them.
He would punish them for seven times, (a time being 360 years, seven times would
be 2520 years) and would banish them from the land of Palestine and scatter them
among the heathens (like lost sheep)
