Fourth Dimension

Fourth Dimension by Pastor Murray = The Shepherd's Chapel, Newsletter June 2011

The fourth dimension is very interesting. We have the three dimensions that we most often think of height, width and depth. And then we have the fourth dimension which is time. Time as it pertains to space is invisible, just as our Father is invisible to man in the flesh. God is in a different dimension than we are. Let's begin our study with the book of Colossians.

Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

If you aren't being fruitful, you aren't of much use to God. Produce fruit and you will receive blessings.

Colossians 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

It is a blessed thing to have faith in God. You can tap into his knowledge and glorious power, if you believe.

Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Light dispels darkness. Light is truth. Light allows you to produce fruit.

Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Redemption is the real beauty of Christianity. Don't ever allow someone to take that away from you. Through His blood, Jesus Christ forgives sin. You either believe that or you don't. I feel sorry for those who don't because their sins aren't forgiven.

Colossians 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

This is why Jesus could say, "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father" Jesus is the exact image of God.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Some folks have difficulty grasping this. God created all things in heaven and earth through His Son Jesus.
He created all things for His pleasure.

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Colossians 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Let me ask you a question. Without God and Jesus in your life, what are you? Nothing, absolutely nothing!

Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Don't ever try to limit God. He is the Head. By Him all things were created, including you.

Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

He is everything and everywhere.

Colossians 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

You are a child of the Living God. If you believe on His Salvation, Jesus Christ, your sins are reconciled. You don't belong to anyone else and you don't owe anything to anyone else. Your spiritual body is eternal in the fourth dimension.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is your deed to heaven. You haven't seen heaven, but through your faith you know heaven is real. You are prepared to enter the fourth dimension which is time eternal with your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The word "worlds" is "aion" in the Greek language. It means an age. It is a period of time not a piece of real estate. You will never understand God's Word unless you understand the three world ages.

Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh

The faith of Abel speaks to us through God's Word.

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Enoch preached about the fallen angels that were seducing the daughters of Adam. His faith was pleasing to God and Enoch never died in the flesh.

Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3  And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6  And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8  But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

If you don't have faith to believe in God, do you think He is going to reward you. You must sincerely seek Him to receive His blessing. If you don't have faith in God it is impossible to please Him. That is trouble.
Skip ahead to verse seventeen.

Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:

Abraham already knew that Israel would become as numerous as the stars of heaven through his son Isaac. But he had the faith to offer Isaac in sacrifice, if that is what God wanted. God provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice. God allowed His own son, Jesus Christ to be sacrificed on the cross for our sins.

Genesis 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Hebrews 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

Abraham believe God was able to raise Isaac from the dead, if He chose to do so. And in the fact that Abraham was ninety-nine years old when Isaac was conceived. God had already more or less raised Isaac from the dead.

Hebrew 11:20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.
22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

Joseph had faith to know God was going to set Israel free from bondage in Egypt. So much that he instructed Israel to take his bones with them, when they left. By faith all of these mentioned will live eternally with God in the fourth dimension.

Romans 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

The just are those who are justified. They will overcome the antichrist. They shall live eternally by faith.

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

God is revealed to us through His perfect creation. He has never created abomination. Man caused abomination. God's creation has a perfect season and reason.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Unrighteous men may not have heard God's Word, but they have seen His creation. They are without excuse.
If they observe God's creation, they know right from wrong.

Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

This is the reason we have wickedness and perversion in the world today. If you don't think the world is wicked and perverted, you aren't watching the evening news.

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

Rather than worshipping our Father, many choose to worship the image of corruptible things God has created.

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

You don't want to go there. Worship the Creator, not His creation. In conclusion, let's turn to 2 Corinthians.

2 Corinthians 4:8  We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Things may get rough, but we will rejoice in our persecution for the sake of the lord. We will never give up.

2 Corinthians 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

God's elect will be delivered unto death, that is to say Satan and they will make the true Jesus know.

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.

2 Corinthians 4:12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Eternal life works in you. You will enter that fourth dimension of time eternal, that is to say forever.

2 Corinthians 4:14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

When we die, we are resurrected into the very kingdom of God. We enter the fourth dimension of time eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

The little bit of trouble you may endure can't compare to the glory you will experience in the fourth dimension.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

The fourth dimension is eternal. You can't see it, but you know it is real. It is our Father's Kingdom.

Exactly 2520 years from the exile of Benjamin, Iceland became an independent nation.

  The first tribe to be conquered by the Assyrians was Manasseh, in 745 B.C. Exactly 2520 years later America became a nation on July 4, 1776.

(Leviticus. 26: 28-46) God warned Israel that if they persisted in continually breaking His Laws, not only would curses come upon them.

He would punish them for seven times, (a time being 360 years, seven times would be 2520 years) and would banish them from the land of Palestine and scatter them among the heathens (like lost sheep)
