Jeremiah 23 Woe to The False Pastors The Book of Jeremiah

There are many different kinds of burdens. Something we physically pick up and carry a burden. Some may also think of their work as a burden. Spiritual burdens, on the other hand, they are a completely different thing.

Many preachers today place spiritual burdens on their congregations. Their traditions of men make void the word of God. They replace God's word with their words. If we would stick with God's word, he will lighten our burdens.

It does not matter what you put in front of your name, if you mislead God's children, God's going to correct you.

Jeremiah 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.

13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

3rd trump Verse 11 tells us this star is called wormwood, means (Satan's evil spirits) are poured out into the earth, by Satan's children the Kenites. (Kenites are the Sons of Cain)

The media does a good job of this, they teach hate, they do it for money... the Kenites control the media. (Revelation 9 and Revelation 13. If you go against the media, they come after you like a lion.

Cain being the first murderer, this proves they were Kenites, (sons of Cain) to whom Christ spoke of.
Revelation 13 tells us these evils spirits which are behind this political system, these rulers of the whole earth, under Satan power, and almost brings in one Worldism.
God brings us the Holy Spirit, the word, the truth

The Star fell from heaven and it fell upon 1/3 of the people, they were (smitten with bitterness). They are spiritually dead. These 1/3 are evil. (The book of Joel, the 3rd stage of the locusts army).
God gives His Elect Power Over Satan and his evil spirits

Christ uses symbolic like insects, water, wind, trees, animals, horses, seasons, all of the nature itself, to relate something to you because you can identify with the things you can see. The truth shall make you free.

They deceive other men, Because all that partake of him become bitter and die a spiritually death.
To die a spiritually death means, of course, you could lose your eternal life.

Lamp: Can bring God's word or Satan's deceptions, lies and confusion

2. serious trouble; misery. Many people still suffer from the calamity of hunger and poverty. The compensations of calamity are made apparent to the understanding also, after long calamity.

16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

17 They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

This sounds like many preachers today. They think what they have to say is more important than God's words.

18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?

I am happy to know that most of you can say, "Yes, I have heard the word of the Lord."

19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

The whirlwind is a manifestation of God's anger.

20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

He isn't going to let things slide. The false prophets will pay.
Notice it said in the latter days

21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

They ran to the pulpits to preach nonsense.

22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

God's word sets things right. His word shows us the way we should go.
False prophets cause people to err.

23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

There is no place in the universe to hide from God.

25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

False teaching, That prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed

26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

We see it today. They want to take God out of our schools.
They want to remove His name from our vocabulary.
We aren't going to forget His name.

28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

Those who speak out of their own heart place spiritual burdens on God's children.
They cause confusion and anxiety. People don't know what to believe.

29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbor.

They rob the people of hearing God's truth, by teaching their own words and traditions in place of God's word.

31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

I am against them that prophesy false dreams and tell them. I sent them not.
False prophets today say, "You don't need to understand the book of Revelation".
We are going to be gone. They think their words will benefit the people more than God's word.

33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah has been telling the people that the Lord said they are going into captivity.
This is now the complaint of the people and the false prophets.
They are saying, "What burden of doom is God sending our way now?''
What is the burden of the LORD? I am against them that blame Me
How many people blame God, for their problems?
How many people blame Satan? Satan sends burden on the people.
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
