Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
  • Against Unscrupulous Dealing
2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
  • Wicked rulers don't stay in office to long
  • If you take a man with knowledge, he does things for the people, he will stay in office
  • Changes of dynasty in quick succession.
  • A man of understanding, or a man knowing a discerning man when he sees him
3 A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
  • Poor Man = # 7326 = needy = properly, a valiant man or warrior; generally, a person simply
  • Poor = # 1800 = weaker ones = lean, needy, poor (man), weaker
4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
  • Contend = You rebuke weakness
  • Praise  the wicked = praise a lawless one
5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things.
  • Evil men only think about evil = they think doing evil is okay =  these are the give me people
6 Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
  • It's better to be poor, than to go out and steal
  • The poor = a poor one
  • Uprightness = integrity
  • Ways = than he walketh in double ways
  • Ways = double ways
7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
  • When you're in the wrong crowd, it's not long before, you're doing wrong also
  • Wise = intelligent
  • Law = instruction
8 He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
  • He takes from everyone, and he never shares, or helps anyone.
  • There always another generation coming
9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
  • He that turn away from God's law
  • He'll follows Satan
  • When he get in trouble
  • He's going to call out for help from God's
  • God's not going to help a wicked person.
  •  His prayer shall be abomination to God
10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
  • If you cause a righteous man to go astray, God going to punish you
11 The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
  • Rich man thinks he doing right
  • But poor man, he searches for what's right
  • Conceit = eyes
12 When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
  • Your not going to enjoy the things, that you get by being dishonest
13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
  • He that thinks, he doesn't have to ask for forgiven
14 Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
  • He doesn't ask for forgiveness
15 As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
  • A wicked ruler that will not last long
  • Roaring = growling while devouring his prey, not roaring as he springs upon it.
16 The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
  • The prince = ruler with no understanding
  • But great ruler = people want great rulers that help people
  • Oppressors, shall cut short his days; but or it may be and what of him
17 A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
  • He going on the left side of the gulf, the holding place unto the millennium
  • Gulf in Heaven Luke 16
  • A man oppressed with the guilt of murder (Genesis 9:4-5) will flee to the pit of destruction: let none lay hold on him, there is no occasion for it; he is his own tormentor, and will probably be his own executioner, or will deliver himself up to justice.
  • Genesis 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
    5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
18 Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
  • God gives us a set of rules to do, if you're not doing what's right, you're not going to last long
  • Perverse = Perverse and walketh in double ways, shall fall in one. Fall at once; or fall in one of the two.
19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
  • Vain or vanities
  • Poverty = is not the same word as verse 22
20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
  • If you're cheating people by getting rich =  you're not going to be innocent.
  • Not be innocent = not go unpunished
21 To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
  • You're suppose to treat everyone the same
22 He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.
  • Be fair with all people, if not, you're not going to have God's blessing
23 He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
  • Tongue put by for what is spoken by it.
24 Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.
  • Destroyer = a destroying man
25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat.
  • Heart = soul
  • Trust = confidence
26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
  • He that hideth his eye from helping someone that needs help and you don't help
  • If you have money to help someone and over look someone = because they're poor, you're going to be curse.
28 When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
  • The wicked aren't going to be around, after the millennium, they're going into the lake of fire
  • Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
  • His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God
  • Tabernacle means ''dwelling place''
  • We see He is dwelling with men.
  • 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
 
Exactly 2520 years from the exile of Benjamin, Iceland became an independent nation.
 
  The first tribe to be conquered by the Assyrians was Manasseh, in 745 B.C. Exactly 2520 years later America became a nation on July 4, 1776.
