Proverbs 5
Book of Proverbs
Proverbs 5:1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my
understanding:

Let your ears focus on God's word, open your
mind to God words
-
Understanding = discernment
2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep
knowledge.
-
Know when to speak, don't cast God's word before
men that don't won't hear.
-
Some people will never see or hear God's word.
-
Roman 11:8 According as it is written, God hath
given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see,
and ears that they should not hear; unto this day.
-
God put them in this slumber or stupor.
-
There is no such word as ''slumber'' in Greek
language, a stupor, or ''eyes that they should
not see, and ears that they should not hear''.
-
The purpose of this stupor is that the Gentiles
would have an opportunity to accept Christ and
could come into their own kingdom, as is
recorded in the 21st chapter of Revelation.
-
It's up to God, if the seed grows = God's word
-
Matthews 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto
the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before
swine, lest they trample them under their feet,
and turn again and rend you.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye
shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto
you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he
that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh
it shall be opened.

Some don't care, they don't won't or care about
God.
3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is
smoother than oil:

This woman =
One of an apostate: Israelite woman gone over to
the Idolatrous impurities of heathen religion.

A strange woman, two words are used for
"strange" and "stranger".
-

The other, a purely foreign woman of a similar
character.

The danger is religious rather than moral.

Drop as an honeycomb = distil honey

Satan's doctrine = They make it sound sweeter
than honey = to deceive you

This invitations of religious idolatry
suit the tastes of the natural man = 4th trumpet
4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

Bitter as wormwood = People became bitter
-
Revelation 8:10 = Star that fell = Satan's evil
spirits poured out on the people
-
3rd trumpet =
Verse 11 tells us this star is called wormwood,
means (Satan's evil spirits) are poured out into the earth, by
Satan's children the kenites. (Kenites are the Sons of Cain)
-
2nd seal to take peace from the earth.

The media does a good job of this, they
teach hate, they do it for money... the
kenites control the media. (Revelation 13 =
If you go against the media, they come after
you like a lion.

Wormwood - uncertain, wormwood (as a type of bitterness,
calamity) (devils, evil spirits)

The 3rd stage of the locust army in the book of Joel.

This star wormwood are Satan's spirits of devils = evil spirits

Their power is in their mouth.. flood of lies...
bitterness...uncertain ...calamity

The peoples become saturated in his bitterness (deception)

2nd seal to take peace from the earth, they should kill one another.

Waters = People became bitter

Sharp as a two-edged sword = God's word
-
1st seal don't be deceived = These are false pastor
5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

Hell = grave
-
They take you to deception = false doctrine
6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable,
that thou canst not know them.
-
Lest thou shouldest ponder: Render: So that she
findeth not the level path of life; her ways are
unstable and she knoweth it not.
7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of
my mouth.

Children = sons
-
Words = saying
-
Listen to God's wisdom
8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:
-
Door = entrance
-
If God's word isn't been taught = Don't go
into their church
9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:
-
For what happens in them, don't be deceived by
them, verse 3
10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the
house of a stranger;
-
Both words =Two strangers from verse 3
-
1st stranger = Israelite woman
-
Thy wealth = Strength = of cause, for what is
produced by it = God's word
-
2nd stranger = a foreigner = like a Kenite, not the
same word as in verse 3 and 7
-
Labours = for what is produced by it = Kenites =
false doctrine
11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,
12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;

They don't won't to study, They don't listen to
God's word, wisdom
13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear
to them that instructed me!

My teachers = The Bible = Words from Isaiah, Moses, John,
Paul..
etc..
14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and
assembly.

Being spiritually dead to God's word, Ezekiel 37
= Dry bones that listen to man

I was almost in all evil = The denotes "in", in
the sense of "as" = I soon became as an evil
man.
-
Almost = in a little while
-
It is rendered "almost" on in Psalms 73:2 and
Psalms 119:37 and here.
-
Where it may as well be rendered "soon" or
"quickly".
-
It denotes in a little time
-
Psalms 73:2 But as for me, my feet were almost
gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

Psalms 119:37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding
vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

Psalms 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and
ye perish from the way, when his wrath is
kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that
put their trust in him.

Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into
thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee:
hide thyself as it were for a little moment,
until the indignation be over past.
15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of
thine own well.

Drink waters = Fresh water
-
Our living water = Jesus the Christ

Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of
water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out
of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on
either side of the river, was there the tree of
life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and
yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of
the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the
throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it;
and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name
shall be in their foreheads.

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride
say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.
And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever
will, let him take the water of life freely.

Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
I will give unto him that is athirst of the
fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things;
and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the
streets.

Obtains it by a question, Should thy fountain?

Song of Solomon 4:12 A garden inclosed is my
sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain
sealed.

Fountains = Thine own wife

Rivers of waters = divisions of waters
-
Thy garden irrigation channels in the streets

Streets = one places
17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.

Not strangers = Satan's teaching
-

18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

Thy fountains = Thine own wife, from verse 16
-
Let God bless you = with wisdom
19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts
satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
-
Love your family = don't take your family to a
church that teaches false doctrine
20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and
embrace the bosom of a stranger?
-
Stranger = Alien or foreigner
-
Why would you let .. the kenites deceive you
21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth
all his goings.
-
God watches you, this is how He will bless you,
He knows what's you are doing
22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be
holden with the cords of his sins.
-
Take trap or entrap him
-
Wicked = A lawless man
-
He holden his own net = If your not studying
God's word, not's blame God, it's up to you
-
You're the one that followed man's word
23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly
he shall go astray.
-
He shall go astray = he follow Satan = false
teaching
-
