Proverbs 9                                                          Book of Proverbs   Book of Proverbs

Proverbs 9:1 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
  • Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
2 She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
  • Which table are you going to?
  • God's table = wisdom = resurrection, and life eternal
  • Satan's = Babylon = confusion = be deceived = death
3 She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,

4 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
  • Simple = deceive, flatter, persuade, silly (one).
  • These don't watch = they don't know Satan comes at the 6th trumpet
  • These don't care about God's word.
5 Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
  • Bread and wine = Christ, Christ became our Passover
6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
  • Foolish = heartless = they don't care, and they don't have a mind
  • Don't cast God's word into heartless people that don't care about God's word.
  • Matthews 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
  • Heartless men = They're going to mock you
8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
  • A scorner = Heartless these are against God and anything that's right
  • Hate thee = We condemn one who has wronged us, and he condemn us.
  • God's plan is to convict and make the sinner condemn himself.
9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
  • Don't thing you know it all, because no man knows it all
  • God's word grows each time you study
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
  • Fear = loving God
  • The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding
  • Ask God for wisdom, knowledge and understanding
  • Understanding = discernment
11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
  • By knowledge, you will increase in God's word
12 If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
  • It's wisdom that betters you, never hid the word, share the word with others
  • It's your choice,  if you have wisdom
  • If you hate wisdom, you hurt yourself = be a fool
13 A foolish woman is clamourous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
  • A fool person will talk all day and never say anything, because its fools words not God's word.
14 For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
  • She sitteth at the door with false teaching.
15 To call passengers who go right on their ways:

16 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
  • This man wants to know about God's word, but she saith to him = false teaching
17 Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
  • Words from false teaching
  • Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
18 But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
  • The dead = Rephaim = fallen angels
  • Proverbs 6:26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.
  • Proverbs 7:27  Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
  • Psalms 82:5  They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations

Exactly 2520 years from the exile of Benjamin, Iceland became an independent nation.

The first tribe to be conquered by the Assyrians was Manasseh, in 745 B.C. Exactly 2520 years later America became a nation on July 4, 1776.
