Who Was Satan From The Beginning, The 1st Earth Age?

 

Satan was a anointed cherub that protected the mercy seat, God's seat

 

Pride was his down fall and instead of protecting God, he wanted to take God Seat.

 

Ezekiel 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

 

Ezekiel 28:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

• The Lord is speaking to Ezekiel

2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

• God Himself calls Satan a man
• Tyrus in Hebrew means rock or stone
• So believe it: this wicked one has the appearance of a man.
• Prince of Tyrus: another name of Satan
• Isaiah 14 - Lucifer, son of the morning, he's a copycat, he wanted to be God
• Deuteronomy 32:  Satan is the false rock, the false Christ.
• Christ is our Rock
• Deuteronomy 32:31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges
• Satan is always trying to imitate and to falsify, and we see he's even called his own town in olden days the rock
• Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
  13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
  14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
• In the mist of the seas; yet thou art a man = In the mist of the people; yet thou art a man
• Revelation 17:15 = seas in prophecy is usually symbolic of people.
• Verse 4 and 5 will tell us that it was through the monetary system that Satan became strong.

3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:

• Daniel 1:17 Daniel was exceedingly wise himself, but Satan is even wiser than Daniel.
• Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
  2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
• 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
• 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
  5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
  6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

• Today Satan uses the Four hidden political dynasties to control the World = Education, Religion, Financial and Government

5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:

6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

• Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

 

8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

• God has sentenced him to death in the midst of the seas, in the midst of the people.
• Revelation17:15 seas are the people
• This sentence was also passed upon him in Revelation 20, but this is one of the references.
• Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
• 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
• Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
• Satan is death
  John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
• 1 Corinthians15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
• Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil

9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

• Hebrews 2:14 Christ came to die on the cross to destroy the devil.
• Which is of course none other than the devil who brought death into this world, in the first place.
• Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
  8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
  9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
  10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

• You will die as the ungodly
• Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
• At last, Praise God! The end of Satan. Here he is only himself.
• He had this role stripped from him in Revelation 19:20

11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

• This happen in the first earth age, Before Satan's fall. You were made full of wisdom and perfect in beauty
• Verse 14, he was God's cherub, he earn his seat.
• Tyrus = rock
• And as we learned in the Song of Moses Satan's their rock. (Deut 32)
• Their rock, the king of Tyrus is none other than Satan.
• God created Satan full of wisdom and beauty.
• Here we have a supernatural being addressed: He of whom the "prince of Tyre" was only a type
• He who was using that "prince" as one of his agents to secure the world = power.
• He is not a mere "man "as the prince of Tyre" 
• His description, superhuman, and can refer to no other than Satan himself.
• Thou sealest up the sum = Thou art the finished pattern. Hebrew word = toknith = pattern.

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

• Satan has never been, and never will be, born of woman. He was created. We are talking about Satan.
• I dressed you in the ultimate the very best. Before Satan's fall, he was special to God, because of his beauty and great wisdom.
• He was created, not born, he was in the garden of Eden.
• He's letting you know, this was the first world age.
• Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
•  Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

• At one point in time, he had earned that position, until his pride took over
• You were right there with Me at the throne
• Satan was a cherub that protected the mercy seat, God's seat
• Exodus 25:19-20 Satan's duty was to protect the mercy seat, which is the seat of God
• Pride was his down fall and instead of protecting God, he wanted to take God Seat.
• He wanted to be God, he is the false rock

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

• Till iniquity was found in thee - Until he stopped loving God.
• People often ask, why God allows the things He does in this world?
• God will not demand you to Love Him, He has given everyone free will.
• God is an all-powerful God, but He will not demand love.
• Love is the one thing that cannot be bought, ordered, or even created. 
• Love must come from the heart, as a gift in a sense or it would be worthless.
• When Satan stopped loving God, God would not command him to love Him.
• God wants every creature to love Him, but only if given voluntarily.
• It is for this reason we have the world in the shape it is now, or the reason that God allows Satan to rule in his wickedness which has brought pain, suffering and death to this world.
• This is why we are in this world age, God needs to know, do you love Him.
• Pride will take you down, one third of God's children followed Satan

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

• Satan is the only person God sentence to die, by name.
• In the book of Jude, these are going into the lake of fire also

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

• His heart was lifted up, in the Hebrew indicates with pride, and brightness could be translated splendor.
• Now where is he going to come? 
• I will cast thee to the ground. He's coming to the earth.
• He will appear on this earth at the time God intends for him to appears, in Jerusalem very soon to perform the miracles. Rev 13
• Before kings, that they may behold thee,  refers to the passages in Isaiah that we just reviewed.
• Is this the man.
• 2 Thessalonians. 2:9 Satan comes in with All Power and Lying Wonders, and Miracles.
• 2 Thessalonians. 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition
• Falling away = defection from truth (properly, the state) ("apostasy"): falling away, forsake.
• Apostasy, which comes from the Greek means the ''apostasia'', is a renunciation of one's professed principles.
• Falling away = 1/3 of the Christian will follow Satan
• Son of perdition # G622 = damnable, destruction, die, perish
  John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
  Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
   Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

• God is saying, I am going to do this where everyone can see it
• Matthew 10:28 God only, can kill your soul
• Psalms 37 What's going to happen and why does it seem that the wicked get ahead.
• They will be like fat in a fire like ashes.
• Ashes: here in Hebrew, means final death: no hereafter, but final death.
• This is going to take place here on earth in the sight of everyone after the millennium. Rev 20
• So far we have found him to be wise and beautiful man, actually very splendid to look upon, Certainly not the image that is pictured in people's minds today.

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

• For ever and ever
• Deuteronomy 32 and Revelation 15 Song of Moses
• Their rock is not our Rock = Our Rock is Christ

20 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,

22 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

• They will know I am the Lord

23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

24 And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

• Zechariah 8:1 Again the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
  2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
• I was jealous because you are following false teaching and not My Word
• The prophecies concerning Jerusalem and its inhabitants
• All refer to the future, and await their fulfillment in millennial days.
• Saith = hath said
Zechariah 8:3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
• I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem
• Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth, meaning The Lord is there
• The mountain of the LORD of hosts the Holy Mountain
• Ezekiel 48:35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The Lord is there.

25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.

• I will gather Jacob, the reclaiming
• Revelation 12 - 1/3 of God's children followed Satan
• Heathen = nations

26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.

• They should build there houses safely.
• Zechariah 8:8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
• I will be their God, all will be safe.
• My people, the believers
• The millennial temple will be in Jerusalem
Zechariah 14:11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
• Isaiah 65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
• No more wicked people = they are in the lake of fire.
• No taxes, God is with us
