Joseph Dreamed a Dream Foreshadowing His Future Power

 

Joseph's Brothers Sold Him = Type of the last days = 6th trump and 7th trump

 

Genesis 37:1 And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan.

2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.

3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.

• Coat = with long sleeves, worn only by the chief and his heir. This the first cause of brothers' enmity.
• Colours = Not "pieces". Marking it as priestly or royal
• Joseph brothers were jealous of him because Jacob loved him more

4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

• Joseph brothers hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him

5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

• Joseph dreamed a dream
• Joseph still has done nothing wrong, but his brothers were very jealous of him and hated him.

6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed:

• Joseph wanted tell his brothers about his dream, they didn't want to talk with him

7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.

• Made obeisance to my sheaf = bow down to him
• The Lord's Day = The first day of the Millennium.
• 7th trump = When Christ returns and gathers His elect = what happens on the first day of the Millennium
• All nations shall come and worship before thee = Because you are with Christ
• Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
• They = all on the left side of the gulf in heaven = all that followed Satan
• Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
• What happens after the 7th vial = God's wrath pour out on all that followed Satan
• Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
• Overcomes = God's very elect
• Beast = Satan' one world order = Dan 7

• Will Joseph dream come to pass? Yes = Genesis 42

9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

• Joseph's second dream
• Eleven stars = the eleven signs of the Zodiac, Joseph being the twelfth.
• Numbers 2:2 = Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
• Ensign = Each standard is said to have had as its "sign" one of the twelve constellations
• One standard, with its sign on it for each tribe.
• Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
• This verse, as we all know, this woman is speaking of mother Israel.
• Twelve stars - The zodiac representing the tribes of Israel.
• It is always translated "wonder", and occurs three times in three of the Gospels:
• Matthew 24:24. Mark 13:22. John 4:48.
• Made obeisance to me = Genesis 42:6 And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.

10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

• Will Joseph dream come to pass? Yes = Genesis 42
• Genesis 42:6 And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.

11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.
12 And his brethren went to feed their father's flock in Shechem.
13 And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.

• Did Joseph do anything wrong?
• No, Joseph told his family his dream and they envied him they wanted to kill him

14 And he said to him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be well with thy brethren, and well with the flocks; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

• Shechem = ridge; Shekem, a place in Palestine

15 And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?
16 And he said, I seek my brethren: tell me, I pray thee, where they feed their flocks.
17 And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan.
18 And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.

• Joseph's brothers conspired against him to kill him.

19 And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.

• His brothers said this, this dreamer cometh = they were mocking him
• Just like today, when you tell your family they are not going to be rapture. What do they do? They call your pastor, your brothers, sister to come and help you.. they think you're crazy.
• We have two pastors in our family, so you know I got mocked for years and still get mocked. I was taught as a child Satan comes first. We moved to another state and I started watching the Shepherds Chapel..I didn't know anything about the rapture until about 1980..

20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

• Joseph's own brothers wants to kill him
• They wanted to put him into a pit
• Now they are going to lie to their father, we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

21 And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him.

• Reuben said Let us not kill him

22 And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness,

23 And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him;
24 And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.
25 And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.

• Ishmeelites called Midianites.
• Genesis 37:28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.
• Genesis 37:36 And the Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh's, and captain of the guard.
• Ishmael was the son of Abraham by Hagar

26 And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?
27 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.

• Once the 6th trump sounds we go into one world order. God's very elect are with the two witnesses. Your family will think Satan's christ, when they see you are with the two witnesses, they want to save you and help.. They will have you deliver up.
• How does Satan come in? He come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries, by saying he is God. Satan going pay all your bills if you worship him.
• Daniel 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
• 8th king, Vile person, Satan's saying  he is God. This Is one of the twelve titles given to Satan.
• His estate = 7th kingdom, Satan's one world  order

• Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
  8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
• What power?
• Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
  14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
• This happen on earth, Satan can snap his fingers and make lightning appear, and all men will actually see this.
  Satan has great wonders, maketh fire come down from heaven.
  Fire = lightning, Satan can cause lightning to come down out of heaven
  Revelation 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
• What did the devil say to Jesus?
• Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
  6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
  If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine
• Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
  13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
• Death = another name for Satan
• 1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
• Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
• Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Joseph's Brothers Sold Him For 20 Pieces of Silver  = type of the last days

 

6th trump = Joseph Dreams type of the last days = Your family and friends will have you deliver up to Satan

Death = Satan

Revelation 2:1 0 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you , that and ye shall have tribulation into prison ye may be tried; ten days unto death, I will give thee a crown of life. : be thou faithful and
John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The, and now is, hour is coming when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Dead shall hear = they are spiritually dead = Ezekiel 37

Your children or parents will have you deliver up to Satan = Why?
They think Satan is Christ..they are deceived - 1st seal don't be deceived
They think they are helping you, they want to save you
Remember Satan comes in Peaceably.. deceive by flatteries

 

Daniel 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

Revelation 8:1 There was silence in heaven about 1/2 hour - Michael cast out Satan = 2 1/2 months

Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Where it ought not, Means he.. Satan ought not to be
