Why Did Elijah Requested for
Himself That He Might Die
Because the children of Israel have
forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and
slain thy prophets with
the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life,
to take it away.
1 Kings 19:1 And Ahab told
Jezebel all that
Elijah had done, and
withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.

You have to ask, who is King?
2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the
gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life
of one of them by to morrow about this time.
3 And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and

Elijah didn't asked God, he just went to Judah

Olive oil is symbolic of truth
Without oil, the lamp and Holy Spirit are
quenched. No truth; no light
Vessels = Containing oil, to pour on the torches
As Jesus taught in
Revelation 3:20, "Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if
any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup with him, and he with Me."
Note that action is required on our part. We must be willing to open the door
and hear His voice with understanding. To "sup" means to share deeper truths.
Once the four winds are shut.. it's too late. (Rev 7)
At this time Satan's doing every thing he
can to wear out the very elect.. be strong in the Lord... God
